International Songwriting Competition Deadline Approaching

The ISC's deadline is October 7th.
ISC’s Artist and Industry Executive judges select all winners, offering an opportunity for aspiring songwriters and musicians to have their songs heard by a panel of influential artists and industry decision-makers, the organizers say.

ISC says it will give away over $150,000 in cash and prizes to 65 winners (including a $25,000 cash Grand Prize). Amateur and professional songwriters and musicians are invited to enter their songs. The deadline is October 7th.

2009 ISC judges include:
  • Recording Artists: Kings of Leon; Robbie Williams; DJ Tiesto; Jeff Beck; Timbaland; Tom Waits; Alejandro Sanz and more.
  • Industry Executives: Seymour Stein (Chairman/CEO, Sire Records); Amanda Ghost (President, Epic Records); Monte Lipman (President/CEO, Universal Republic Records); James Diener (President, A&M/Octone Records) and more.

Artists may submit as many songs as desired in each category (21 different categories including: Rock; Pop/Top 40; R&B/Hip-Hop; Folk/Singer-Songwriter; World; Latin Music; Music Video and many more) or enter the same song in more than one category.
