Value For Money :
Excellent
Made in France in the studio of Landry.
Solid spruce, walnut sides and back (not sure), mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut.
The lifts are accurate and are very good agreement.
The bridge is bonded and the strings do not cross the body.
Touche 21 frets (22 GB for the strings e) medium-jumbo I believe (have to check the site but can not connect to ...).
Satin, natural finish. It's beautiful but it fears the shots, it's a horror.
Harmonics well settled.
Attractive features in terms of price.
Only downside: I had to readjust the frets when I bought it. Indeed, looking at the profile touches can be seen at the junction box-sleeve button is slightly domed ==> it bordered a lot there (around the 13th case). Now more problems. But it's stupid for a new guitar.
UTILIZATION
I love the handle: C-profile flat but slightly below, we feel good in the palm (position "modern") and the thumb is comfortable (position more "classical"). A real treat for me.
The varnish of the handle is successful, it does not stick and is pleasant to the touch.
Easy access to acute until the 17th box, after it was harder but not impossible (thank you cut the pan).
Sitting is a treat, play for hours without problems through the box smaller than a dreadnough.
For I have not tried to stand against and in fact I do not care I is not that interesting for an acoustic.
SOUNDS
I play everything on acoustic (well try) and no problems, she follows.
It's safe and it is significant.
Accompanying this is not the most recommended (lack of low, normal given the format) but it's doable.
on the other hand in picking / arpeggios / solos / ... it is great.
I was immediately won over by these sonoritées.
At first I was getting 80/20 bronze strings 12-54 Martin. I just get the 10-47 phosphorus-bronze and D'Addario is the dream. Finally the sound I wanted with this guitar
OVERALL OPINION
I bought it in August 2003 for € 689 (No. 000146)
I had gone to buy an acoustic to about € 450. I tried a Yamaha and a Cort. It was good but not what I was looking (especially that to have a bevel is almost forced to take an electroacoustic not balanced and I wanted at least € 150 in my budget for a preamp that I would never).
When the seller made me try I fell in love with this guitar is the magic of violin making. Nothing to do with these guitars made by machines, this one has a "soul", a story and a real personality. That's what made me choose it (and especially beyond my budget: p).
The price / quality ratio is excellent.
I would do this choice with his eyes closed (well I would look better down the details as veiled), although I do not intend buying other acoustic guitars at the moment.
In any case I would never again buy anything other than a guitar luthier (in the acoustic conscerne).
