USE

The handle is a treat .. really! Me who has small hands with fingers lumberjack trend baobabs, I have not had a problem getting started. Of course, access to acute is difficult, no cutaway forces (I personally do not like the aesthetic appearance of cutaway and I never go in acute with folk ... so it is not a problem for me!). Yes it is very light. The shape on it is jumbo ... so you know what to expect.

SOUNDS

I play a bit of everything on this guitar, it's going to pop the nut to blues or folk and it sticks to any hair cell (except hard metal trash ... um I stop my silliness). To be honest I was a little surprised at first by the brilliant and ultimately its roots not at all (which was ironic given the aesthetic roots precisely the guitar). But after a string change I was very happy with the result as good as bright as the warm and round!

NOTICE GLOBAL

It's been nearly a year since I use it with no regrets. Hard to find fault with this guitar compared guitars in the same price range. So unless you find a Martin or a used Gibson in good condition and at that price (1000 euros), this is a good choice .... except I really do not see where you can find this guitar is no longer produced and comes from a brand not well known in France ... So you who read my mind behind your computer ... and well I think you just lost 2min ... sorry !! Well I stop my not funny humor but this guitar has an excellent value for money, certe not varnished and other embellishment but has sound really great, especially for the price. Therefore, if a Larrivée crosses your path, do-not lachez !!!
Ah if a fault: no rigid comes with the guitar case, just a cover !!!

Made in Canada, neck and body in accajou, button head and handle bne, table pica.
In truth much more beautiful than pictured on the site.

UTILIZATION

Super light weight, ergonomics is perfect but the abscence of sr cutaway makes Access in acute difficult.
I find the guitar trs trs beautiful "roots": no riv-flower abalone, no pick guard super dcor no gloss and no pan shot (you can not have it all: Access in acute and Aesthetics)
To get a good sound, but there is the more that work.

SOUNDS

I play Jazz and Blues: The Son. According to the attack gives color round dlicates or otherwise CLAT. An instrument extremely alive, the top medium is moving particulirement, bass and bright treble Submitted for trs.
For comparison, I have tried a Gibson Jumbo (the "little" I do not have the head in REFERENCE) and I find that my Larrive is positioned in a type of sound quite close in quality is a tiny notch below the bass and treble and plutt above the upper medium; All for half the price!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for three years, I find its sound as beautiful as ever, everyone compliments me on it.
If he really had to find a default I would say that may be, to bottle neck, the sound would be a bit bright for the traditional blues (I hsit purchase with any accajou Martin, trs type blues, but his quiet, just a little too open typ least ...). It would look really small bte because there are a lot of playing and recording blouseux now with the sounds of this type.
Other significant testing before acqurir: Guild and Gibson Larrive hand and a Dreadnought (entry level as well). I did not risk the super high end since I came out of the budget.

The report price seems exceptional quality and I do not regret hsit cherch essay and essay-r for a month before finding this guitar. I'll be curious to see what happens in the high-end of the mark, given the quality of the inter-end!

Round brilliant, easy to play!
access to acute rather difficult, however.

The sound is masterful guitar for that price (1100 € ... I got mine at € 800 tralalalalère ...)
I try many (simon and patrick, Seagull, Alvarez, Taylor, Martin) and ben here is my choice! is the entry level Larrivee but it is by no means comparable to entry level taylor martin and even less with their guitars or they have forgotten to use wood ...
this guitar offers an opportunity to play in any shade, the sound is super balanced ... and it is strange because you can assign adjectives totally opposed ... bright and warm, round and perceived ... it has everything ... it not Mess.
initially I could not put more than 500 euros, but there really big favorite!

OVERALL OPINION

Used for several hours.
I like her quite sour and sober (no varnish, no dorrure)
I like the access to less acute but sincerely I go with no acoustic.

I think she is no longer manufactured, the entry level is now the L-03.
