Acoustic guitar Irish handmade.
Jumbo.
satin varnish.
Ebony fingerboard, cedar top, mahogany back and sides.
Gotoh Tuners.
Strings to buy: D'Addario EXP 12-53 prosphora bronze.
Channel end, flat and broad, large frets
Thin sheet of transparent protection, well done!
UTILIZATION
It is perfect for fingerpicking, good for the flat.
The violin is very neat, the aesthetics of good taste, precise mechanical, light body, nice touch with satin varnish which gives the skin soft therefore quite fragile.
Attention to those who think that good acoustic guitar rhymes with an easy game as electric. No, here it takes some energy and good hands to play correctly.
SOUNDS
The sounds are quite round for folk, do not expect the next "martinet" unique to Taylor.
Bass, all is balanced and accurate sound projection.
Magneto on my little rotten it sounds very good! Lowden it sounds, you know. So a sound character!
It would be very restrictive to limit the Irish folklore.
OVERALL OPINION
I for one year (already ??!?!!!)
We always talk about Martin and Taylor (correctly), but Lowden is also very good. Irish guitar that is balanced with the guitars of the Atlantic.
The value for money (paid new € 1900) is good: it's worth it!
It is a simple guitar, which gives off a touch, a sensuous, with a folk sound "smooth".
The same choice? re-read my mind!
