UTILIZATION

The machine is apprehended at first without manual. Triturated two three buttons, it gets auto-arranger, and we already find yourself walking in the footsteps of Dead Or Alive or Duran Duran ...
For the rest, although intuitive, access to advanced editing functions requires a small turn in the manual, but is apprehensive easily.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this keyboard for three months now, and I know already that it will never leave me. Every day my enthusiasm for this machine increases. It is certainly limited in its style, but what does she practice well. The bass is wonderful, fit well in the mix and are ultra-typed ...
The Battery, with its 8-bit samples leads us to the top names of the genre, Drumulator or E-mu SP12 kind. Not looking for a 808 or 909 in there, but the vintage grain is there, and quite efficient, thank you especially to the Accent function.
The combo Strings / Organ drives the point, and reminds us in some ways its a Arp Solina.
The Synth section gives us the typical sound "Popcorn" from the Arp 2600, and two other well thought out and used in abundance in Italian productions 80's sounds.
Amateur Italo-disco or pure juice electrofunk, look no further, you have before you the ultimate machine which knows no other competitor.
It's not for nothing that the great electro producers instead in their "hall of fame" (see Jori Hulkonnen) ... Although Solton is not very famous among the producers of electronic music, this rare piece is a must have in the studio nostalgic producer.

I tested a lot of sequencers and arrangers (Roland MC %%%, D5, RM1x Yamaha, Korg Electribe, 01W ...) but have rarely seen such a powerful and intuitive tool.
