Mine is made in taiwan in 1990.

Do not rely on price as I bought it, I came across an advert on lbc, the type had in his attic for 90, he played 6 months and was tired and he sold without concience its value ... it coast a little more (400 I think)


She arrived in bad shape, and I spent a weekend over (to polish bodywork all over the body, scrub the hardware, 3 new knobs ... ect)

But once it's ... pfiouuu!

I love the texture of these mics, it's pretty typical rock but not that big output level for passive and bridge pickups is not a classic, it is Burne J and mixing the two is well balanced .

21 frets, alder body maple neck rosewood fingerboard (very nice touch with the typical benchmarks BB) slightly glittery black, gold hardware, sturdy easel and a treat to settle)

it's classic Vol / Vol / Tona easy to adjust and find his sound.

the handle is a treat for me ... a little larger than a stick of JB but with the back of most flat handle

UTILIZATION

for my small hands, the handle is just perfect, access to acute is correct, the low light (ds 4kg I think) and well balanced.

the violin is very correct, it's simple but effective and well finished, the kind you forget playing hours on

SOUNDS

Grain microphones is really typical and personality. the bridge pickup is much more present than conventional PCs, it growl angrily when you want, with a tona hair is softer and typed motown, P alone is very effective for the rock ... In short, low to do anything.

I played on markbass Aguilar and currently, it is good every time (but I prefer Aguilar)

OVERALL OPINION

it will be two months since I abandoned my main a bit PJ. This little BB is amazing, very enjoyable to play, a strong personality and a mug that I personally love.

Friend Lefty, if one day you cross into a sale .... do not ask you a question, skip it. She cheerfully bury what is actually done in these price ranges. it up, sturdy, comfortable and with a really good sound ... anyway!
