Lâg Roxane Matt Design RL200MD

hello,

I bought this scratch in Toulouse in 2007. My brief was to find an electric guitar "left" to less than 600 Euros.

I was attracted by the design of the guitar mat and equipment in terms of microphones.

In the end we get a scratch made for rock and metal with a big sound, which I find really clean compared to the price.

UTILIZATION

No major side ergonomic concerns.

SOUNDS

I rock a little experimental with a lot of distortions.

I plugged directly into my sound card, and Fireface 400 uses Logic and amp simulators and I'm really happy with the results. It's really "fat".

OVERALL OPINION

I use this Lag since 2007, I had a Jackson Kelly Gaucher ago.

Obviously it's a guitar "low cost" made in Korea, and if I had to redo this choice I do not do it again: I will wait, save and buy a Gibson Les Paul finally that costs three times ...

I like its design and light mat.

UTILIZATION

The neck is super nice, the access very easy to acute, the body is close enough to that of the Gibson SG ...
the balance, in turn, changes a little guitars strat typed. the guitar is very light but falls a little to handle if we do not maintain the hand.
on the other hand, the sound is very good! two double EMG, it sends quite well! in addition to the two separate volumes, it was a really good flexibility, as a bonus with the possibility to split the pickups with the push pull.

SOUNDS

I play rock with it and really do what it is cut.
with a fender tube (super 112) and a good disto (105 korg od) is that of happiness!
it's a rather "fat", very powerful. large distortion in the EMG of course meet present and for the bluesy sound, we believed it!
the clean sound is very good too, the rhythmic jazz go perfectly!

OVERALL OPINION

I've been a big month.
I like the power of two dual microphones for a good output level, and then I find it super nice!
outside the small default Balanced, I have no complaints.
I tried a few models Advent to buy one ... because I knew it was the one I wanted!
the value is rather attractive.
I would do this choice without a doubt!

For CHARACTERISTICS see notice that t Previous trs well. I would just add that taking "jack" has a particularity which annoys some m. In fact, if you have a small cable that plugs into nickel and the safety catch can unplug it from happening if not violent movement but suddenly if the cable "jack" type is big blind plug well no way to connect because the opening in the wood is too small. Another black varnish scratches too easily.

UTILIZATION

The handle is trs enjoyable: the rear of the handle slides well and no grip when hands are beginning to be moist.
The access to acute trs is correct (in the form of the double dcoupe Paul has much to do). The purists criticize it as ny n'tant 22 frets but not a guitar-hero that does not impede me.
The ergonomics are good trs: the handle is neither too fat nor too thin, the guitar is trslgre (j'tais habitu between a guitar class at the Whale prev ence in weight is standard). It is true that the use of mahogany Reduces significantly the weight compared to other woods less "noble".
For his dpend this what you want to do (its not clear gniaux).

SOUNDS

Like I said prcedemment clean sounds correct is not easy to obtain despite the incredible sustain the combination string-through-body-solid mahogany body. The guitar is expressed in its saturated rllement and distortion. But what do you expect the EMG pickups are rputs push their high output. And despite the fact that it is the EMG HZ (passive), the output level is consquent. I would recommend this guitar to use a rock or metal. Indeed even in the splitter with single-coil pickups sound clear not only convinces.
I play on a Marshall amp and pedals effect transistor mtal Line 6 Uber and the sound is more than convincing. I hate to try an amp on a lamp. The sound can be rgl on big fat without much distortion problem but sometimes we get a draft with his microphone grave (this may be my amp's low-end I do not know do with amp lamp) .

OVERALL OPINION

APRS wait three months after the order pass (no stock for left-handed), I finally acqurir the coveted grail APRS and one week of use I do not regret my purchase. I would even say that was worth the wait. Its finish is of such beauty that has commanded respect. And if the finish does not force you respect, the microphones will take care of a big sound out to be respected. In short I do not regret my purchase: the price-quality ratio is excellent for whoever would sound as the big left without putting a fortune on a guitar, I got the sound I wanted for my other guitar lacked " prsence "sound, and its finish is truly class. Moreover it can almost compete with high-end guitars.
