All user reviews for the Gibson Les Paul Deluxe Antique Gold Top Ltd ed

Gibson is pretty famous for releasing limited edition guitars with very few changes, and this is really no different. This guitar is the limited edition version of the famous Les Paul Deluxe, but it's really not too different from the others I've played. The guitar features a mahogany body with a maple top, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, trapezoid inlays, pickguard, binding, hard tail bridge, two P90s, two volumes, two tones and a three way switch.

UTILIZATION

The guitar was put together nicely, and that's a good thing for Gibson as their QC has been a bit iffy at times. The guitar had a properly cut nut, and as everyone knows, that's rule #1 for staying in tune. The frets were nicely leveled, the nubs were done correctly and they weren't sharp at all. I was able to get some pretty low action on this guitar despite it having a 12'' radius. Access to the upper frets is the same as every other Les Paul in that it sucks pretty hard. The neck joint gets in the way, but you learn to live with it as that joint is an important aspect in tone.

SOUNDS

The guitar sounded pretty good. The pickups aren't really my thing, to be honest. The pickups are standard Gibson pickups, but they seem to work for most. The bridge pickup has some nice bite to it, and it has some decent output. I find they lack the character for heavy metal, but they can work for 80s metal. The neck is a bit too bright for me. I like a thick, fat sounding neck tone, and these generally have a bit too much bite for me. However, they're clean sounding, and that works awesome for clean tones.


OVERALL OPINION

Finding these at a good price can be a bit of a pain at times thanks to them being "limited edition" guitars, so I tend to recommend people just find the standard version and not worry too much about the finishes. If you happen to love this, however, it would be worth searching it out at your local Guitar Center or other guitar store that you might know of.

OVERALL OPINION

. We have been together for a few weeks! Love is crazy My matresses are even jealous (Especially Miss Gretsch Nashville Western meeting in Louisville KY 98) lol!

The prestige brand Gibson has jou card with his famous 'Guitar of the Week' limited editions at a price 400 pices my faith, if EXAGRES today for instruments of this class ($ 1,999). As against $ 3000 + catalog * (* US Price List).

UTILIZATION

The finish is superb. No fart in the junction body / neck.

The cream binding body-neck-and especially head is the most beautiful effect. Previous versions had the classic head, without ornament of this kind.

The grip is quite comfortable. She is not heavy extrment, however, I will not try to put barbed wire as a strap. Simply put, this is not the worst.

The handle 60's is extremely pleasant. There, again, this is the right balance: enough country to take confidence when its solidity and fine enough for the ease.
CASC is to treble for classic Les Paul.

SOUNDS

Plugs into a full stack Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 100 now:

1) Clear sound

- Bridge: Fun, without being truly transcendent. I always had trouble with any fawn bridge pickup clean sound. However, we feel the banging the microphone, not really dsagrable.

- Intermediates: Hot, very hot. Ideal for arpges and Jazz sounds. She will not blush face a lot of half-boxes.

- Channel: Purely blues. I hte him a flank lgre reverb. The few solos flow easily and are more qu'agrables.

2) His saturbr />
- Bridge: Slamming again. On a Marshall, that's what it takes. Those playing on distortions less british him prfreront certainly P90. But with distortion "dirt" Made In England, it is the right thing.

- Intermediates: I'll let you judge, I am not a proponent of this position regardless of the guitar used.

- Channel: blues here above. A be regulated. Notes solos are nice and hot tears. On a Fender Blues Deluxe, a must do wonders. Already on my Marshall, I am convinced.
Sort this out in it all. Rock, Pop, Jazz, Blues, Hard. The output level of the mini are still a little lightweight for the metal. I test with an overdrive just to see what gave: ben finally, heavy metal, there's way.

I was looking guitar in my life. I. This is my troisime Gibson, and that's good.

I'm not ready for me dbarasser. I melt for littrallement Les Paul Goldtop when I saw a video with someone playing on a model 73 when I was 7 years. I wanted it ever since. It was worth the wait, I wanted the guitar that I will look old. This is the case today ...

The quality has a price in the words Previous user. For this type of guitar, that kind of investment is more than wise.
