UTILIZATION

The handle is plutt enjoyable, but the Les Paul, not super fast (if you're not an ace) and Access in acute is far from being the good ds 17 I box. Not empty if you're used more modern guitars. Matter of habit and size of fingers, no doubt.
Again the nitro lacquer on the back of the handle will not fit ... sweaty hands tend to slide as it will be difficult on a satin or polished on a handle oil.

The frets are fairly thin and somewhat "catchy" in the bottom of my neck got.

The fit is a little subjective, but what about ... if it is it's good, trs good to play with this guitar. We forgive him then all the little default.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a few months, buy the used computer, I can not resist and I play every day. The sound of reputable Lespaul Gibson is not usurped, as this tmoigne Classic Custom. I do not know if it is better than other models, it has its visual identity and a good Submitted versatilis sound.
J'tais plutt party in the ide of a Standard 60 with a nice table and I think Flamm Saddle Road Classic that offers a low price.

The price has dropped since being placed on the market has therefore remains an excellent deal.
($ 4,300 in the United States Gibson on the site, between 2800 and 3000 his apartment in France in 2007, offers 2,400 today)

This is pretty much the more affordable Gibson Custom that they've offered for the past 60 or so years. It's really just as good as the Gibson Custom but at a more affordable price. The guitar features a mahogany body with a maple top, mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard, 22 frets, trapezoid inlays, pickguard, binding, hard tail bridge, two humbuckers, two volumes, two tones and a three way switch.


UTILIZATION

These models are put together very well. The first thing you notice is that the finish itself was pretty much flawless. I couldn't find any drips or any issues where the binding meets the paint. The nut itself was cut perfectly, so there were no tuning problems to worry about. The frets on this were nicely leveled, and I was able to get some nice action going. The ends were also not sharp, so it didn't hurt your hand every time you went up and down the neck.


SOUNDS

The guitar sounded pretty solid. The pickups aren't really my thing, to be honest. The pickups are standard Gibson pickups, but they seem to work for most. The bridge pickup has some nice bite to it, and it has some decent output. I find they lack the character for heavy metal, but they can work for 80s metal. The neck is a bit too bright for me. I like a thick, fat sounding neck tone, and these generally have a bit too much bite for me. However, they're clean sounding, and that works awesome for clean tones.

OVERALL OPINION

This is the guitar you want to get if you're looking for a lower priced Custom. It's lacking a few features that the normal Custom has, but it has all the important ones when it comes to the actual tone of the guitar. Be sure to check the weights of these as they can really vary between the guitars, and I find that the heavier ones don't sound quite as good, although you may feel differently. Definitely a good alternative to the normal Custom that everyone tries to buy.

UTILIZATION

First of all, this guitar looks amazing. The silverburst finish is truly unique. Unfortunately, there are so many Tool and Mastodon fanboys out there that the color is getting real played out. The guitar itself is put together nicely. The frets were leveled, crowned correctly and never cut my hands when sliding up and down the neck. The nut was cut correctly, which is a huge plus as that's probably the #1 tuning instability issue with hard tail guitars. It wasn't overly heavy, and I was glad to feel that. A lot of times, these guitars have tons of dead weight. This one felt perfect for whatever reason.

SOUNDS

The guitar has some nice bite going on with the ebony fretboard. Some claim that the finish itself leads to a different sound, but I'd bet the wood varies so much that the actual finish wouldn't sound THAT much different from any other standard Gibson finish out there. You'll probably hear more of a difference between poly and nitro than comparing two Gibson finishes. The bridge had some aggressiveness going on, but it was a typical Gibson pickup. The neck was the same in that it had some bite going on, and I'm not a huge fan of that. I like a fat, warm and thick neck pickup because it's easier for me to play leads on it.

OVERALL OPINION

These are the coolest looking Gibsons out there, but the color is starting to get played out thanks to Tool, Mastodon and their fanboys. Even Kirk Hammett is getting something similar today. That aside, the guitar sounds great, looks great and felt great. If you're in the market for one of these, you'll probably want to buy used because they're quite a bit of money.

Me I wanted to make an ESP 7-string baritone because I play in Drop C so I wanted a good guitar tipe METAL !!!!.

But by going to Lyon to find a guitar I stumbled across it the first note I understood .... I would go with a 6 string. I just said that grate at piers bcp to metal ....

1 year soon and I can tell you that this guitar has an incredible knowledge. it allowed me to have another musical aproach!
