My "deluxe" has a little story. One day a friend lends itself to me for a few months because I m'tais stole my guitar and I did not have much money to pay me another. Immediately I craqu indeed I did not really like the sound of Les Paul (I had a few years before custom black) .Moi i was rather Telecaster, Gretsch or other sratos .dropoff window L there was all clear when we want, same for saturated ', while a what !!
And then I make the wonder of my boyfriend who sold a type in Canada.
Ten years after, I saw my friend and I asked him what had become of this guitar, and I told him that I yearned for her. Touch by my love he retrouv track and one day he announced that I could buy for a decent price. Since we live in a perfect love. I give him some infidlits with my strato much more lightweight for my old body, or my Gretsch "super chet" (the SECOND love guitars in my life).

USE

This is a Les Paul, there is no doubt pickaxe handle, limit access to acute but sufficient for most musical styles, but heavy balance. Aw! the sound of the mini humbuckers! this is the reason to buy this guitar (or at least try ...). For rsumer is as hot as a P90 but with more mdium-acute, more shine, besides what is the cause of unwanted feedback when playing a consquent level (j ' I lost 30% of acute dj has left ear, but it is not the only cause).
Anyway this guitar is the most versatile of the Les Paul for my taste, from clean to saturated it's magic (can not be for the mtalleux + trash, goth and others).
Of course it's "mate" has a tube amp that dvoilera its full potential, for one with a Hiwatt Custom 50 is the (gold) top!

22 frets, short scale, ideal if you do not need to go too high.
Pickups mini-humbucker Gibson, the sound is slamming a humbucker, quite close to a P90, no buzz, pretty aesthetic too. The plastic cover also shows the size of a P90, so early model Les Paul Gold Top.
Volume and tone micro that can splitter. The knobs really have a function on the sound. They are connected on below a printed circuit board. All connections are made from micro-taken. The output jack is blocking type, which avoids losing when stepped on.

UTILIZATION

The handle is well suited, very nice, not too big, even though we can not compare it to a stick MusicMan (oiled). This guitar is not intended to shred. The rosewood fingerboard (rosewood), pleasant, frets are not sharp, half-round, rather jumbo, so different from Gibson which are fitted with square frets. The rather large slice marks but do not interfere.
What about the ergonomics of a Les Paul, except that this model established in 1952 has survived. It is perfectly balanced, quite small, not too heavy. Compared to my PRS, the table returns a bit at the right forearm, as on all these models. But the thickness of the table and its narrowness limit this problem.
Access to the 22nd fret is, rn to do of course with access to the 24th case of a JP6 MuysicMan, but as I said, this guitar is not made to go too high. We arrive at the 17th box without any problems. Ideal for chords, jazz or rock.

SOUNDS

I play jazz chords and improvisation. The short scale allows movement without discarding too fingers. The chords are easy to make. The sound of the mini-humbucker is slamming and less stifled, therefore suitable as an accompaniment when it still prop. Rather, I use the neck pickup. Intermediate, we can get to make good compromises playing on the settings. Everything will depend on the amp. Very tolerant of saturation, and effects.
I generally do not like the micro acute, but it provides a sound gypsy type, playing on both pickups.
I do not particularly looking versatility, each guitar has its strengths, but this one is a lot.

OVERALL OPINION

I just acquired a kind of lightning in the trial. Yet I have tried several Les Paul, but I did not like the hoop. Here, I was surprised by the jumbo and mini-humbuckers are bluffing.
I like the general shape Les Paul, the quality of wood (mahogany), color Gold Top, finishing relatively well done. I do not like the plastic plate that I may be removed. Screws tighten everywhere.
A quality / price instead average range for a beautiful violin, a beautiful guitar.
The 2015 model has a crappy gadget that adjusts the tuning, which I find uninteresting.

This guitar is a little cousin in the family of Paul. The story goes that it has been manufactured to a period a little less glorious for gibson and the finish is slightly below the expertise of the brand, but even when the instrument has all the great frames of the firm (sustain , big sounds ...)
The big difference in this series comes from the microphones that are mini-humbuckers, (yet different from s p 90) which gives a sharper color and less fat in their (the purists balk ...) but the grain is very interesting Anyway.

UTILIZATION

Like all Gibsons, the handle will not suit everyone, this is not a highway for shredders. but we feel it vibrate ... for adjustments, 3 position pickups, and four knobs that are not for show.

SOUNDS

We enter the heart of the matter. The particularity of this guitar is very fast striking. It was a little big sound gibson, but also the side edges of old rockabiliennes. With a marshall, it's not that funny .. We're not in the world of death and Satus monstrueusesement deep, we are in the wild early days of noisy rock, and its clear she excels particularly for bouncy rhythm.

OVERALL OPINION

A very typical guitar that will not suit everyone. It is a Les Paul entirely conventional, mine in 1977 and of course "Made in America".
You should know that the model "deluxe" model replaces the "classic" from 1969 and up to 1984.

The handle is sturdy, the body accajou, the rosewood fingerboard and the table is covered with a beautiful finish "Gold". It is therefore a Gibson Gold Top Deluxe with Custom pickups!

I put 7 as there are much better at Gibson's and 70's are not deemed to home too ...

UTILIZATION

Then it's heavy trs, access to virtually no acute, the volume knobs are a dcoration and the pickup selector is misplaced .... As with all LES PAUL. Defects as you say, yes, but only one quality: it sounds!
Another characteristic is the very big stick ... I don 't ask for more, you feel comfortable making up the rhythm with the thumb on top, all a box of scne trs but not versatile.

This is my fourth guitar, I was looking for his Les Paul for rhythm saturated

I like less, weight APRS one hour of play, the central micro
- How do you report qualitprix? overall good quality for a skyscraper that has aged well, I have no ide of the hill for the current year 81
- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ... I had this guitar a good price, someone who wanted to get the guitar and eventually the stock was at home playing without me sold it, so yes I would do this choice,
but more in a primary I would have a standard or custom, who have much more powerful microphones!

Gibson is a problem no one I have is United States from 1971 cherry sunburst course! So any original micro mini humbucker, tune o matic, two-volume two-tone ... in short a les paul.

UTILIZATION

Super stick (for me) I have chosen from 30 other gibson, I bought 15 years $ 250 in a pawn shop (pawn pretteur) was rated new york .. access to acute les paul .. .. and the lack of this type of scratch .... the weight, it told me I love the sport tape! .. with 1.84 cm and 90 kg gonna ... for others! .. ..

I have a tube amp (the only ones worthy of the name) in it ... so it sounds!
I go through all the sounds just any style volume control and for mechanical if it is still pulling the same rope for me 10-46 it does not move at all!

Voila Voila I just read the different opinions posted and I think I can make my own version of this fabulous guitar that is the Les Paul Deluxe! First I must warn that for me the real Deluxe are those of 70 years beginning 80 which sound really not the same I think that the recent reissues!

My beauty has me no longer very young, in 1976 the beautiful all the same 30 years! EVERYTHING is completely original (which unfortunately has a time the fashion was that these guitars are humbucker fitted as standard at a price the enlargement of knockouts in the table to accommodate these microphones bcp larger than the mini humbucker home!

Of course mine was manufactured in the United States in the Kalamazoo plant with the conventional configuration of deluxe, 22 frets, Tune o matic 4 knobs (2 volume and 2 tone), handle a little rounder, and the regulars at Gibson will not be disappointed!

UTILIZATION

The round handle is very comfortable and relaxing the wrist during long evenings répétiton or composition ... c really a treat!. The shape of the guitar is quite classical and corresponds to the Les Paul as everybody knows: uncutaway everything's easy access makes a not so bad in acute!

It is on that beast is a bit heavy but worth its weight a little high ...

The sound is immediately against the can and with a near all settings!

SOUNDS

I done with my group of mostly punk glam rock tends also combining rockabilly and blues as well as rock and roll of the seventies!

And for these various fields is simply perfect, and the clear sound is perfect and has its roots crunch it all about!

Of course I play on the traditional Marshall JMP 1973 and they are extremely well connected!

OVERALL OPINION

I bought it recently but I use it every day for 1 month due to H 5-6 a day so I think I can not judge!

This guitar is really very versatile and easily accepts a even Heavy metal jazz blues ... etc ...

I am a real fan of les paul (i already have 3 => a custom historic reissue 1957, a standard and deluxe!) And of course I tried a multitude of different models!

The price is a bit high especially for the vintage (the argus in good condition is between 2700 and 3200 €) but its worth it differs from the current deluxe, the sound is more powerful and more Péchu for vintage!

And of course I will choose this as many times as it takes!

Personally, I have a thing for Les Pauls with P90 pickups. They work great for leads on certain tracks, and can really beef up a rhythm tone when mixed into a rock track. The guitar features a mahogany body with a maple top, mahogany neck with a rosewood fretboard, 22 frets, trapezoid inlays, pickguard, binding, hard tail bridge, two P90 pickups, two volumes, two tones and a three way switch.

UTILIZATION

This guitar was dead perfect. The frets were amazingly level and had a perfect crown to them. This is vital to achieving low action without fretting out. I was able to get it down to about 1/32'' while still being able to bend a full step on every fret. The ends were done nicely, and they didn't slice up your hand at all. To top it off, the nut was cut properly too. The guitar held tune like a champ. However, this is not the case with all of these guitars. I've played a few that were absolutely horrible, so be sure to check yours before buying it if you can.

SOUNDS

If you've never heard a P90 Les Paul before, you really have to try one out. They're like super thick single coils without as much of the aggressive high end but all of that wonderful vowel-ish quality that so many people love. The bridge worked great for everything from clean to even 80s hair metal. P90s are a lot more versatile than people give them credit for. The neck was just liquid heaven. I was able to get the most awesome lead tone out of this for blues and hard rock. The regular humbuckers just can't really deliver this kind of tone.

OVERALL OPINION

If you're looking for a solid P90 guitar, I highly recommend getting one. These guitars are generally built pretty well, but be sure to check them for different things like neck angle, fret ends, a binding nut and uneven frets. Those will be the biggest QC issues these guitars will have.
