I use a 1990 les paul standard ebony ... like new!
UTILIZATION
The handle is very nice, it slides well, though.
Access to treble is typical of a les paul ... narrow. We like it or not personal, I love ... and then who knows how to play on a gibson, and especially a les paul (or ES and former model) will be able to play all the guitars in the world ... .
The weight is substantial, but the sound is magnificent to visit.
the sound is very easy to obtain, we set the knobs it sounds right now ... gibson and it sounds of course!
SOUNDS
Fantastic, we find the true grain at gibson.
Gun's roses, acdc, Mettalica, blues, jazz, funk, everything is go ... .
The les paul standard left hand the sg (even better) and the les paul studio a lot more sustain and character in his ... décoiffe here!
OVERALL OPINION
This is the guitar to own!
It will age much better than sg ... Let me explain: Imagine you brush your 60 les paul actually doing blues or rock, that makes him immediately more than sg class (which for my taste, and here is only my opinion, too aggressive in look, I do not like guitars symmetrical).
Bought used like new, I would not change it for the world my les paul gibson against another or against another brand of scratching. The price is high but it is a good investment for life, and remember ... Gibson is, and no offense to people who do not like (because he does not like the sound, shape, or who are just jealous) it sounds the death!
