UTILIZATION

To believe that deliveries are not very consistent!
The first impression is good, I remember that guitar worth € 125! I think it was worth the money.
Second printing, we try to play and there is much less. The frets exceed (on mine it was like that!) I have them back to avoid leaving your fingers! Then its level, very good surprise, but not bad at all ... not long, the bridge pickup has to decide to stand by! Since I have some time during the hearing, it depends on the moment, very random.
Well it is not a concern as I expected him to graft the electronics of the Epiphone I bought at the same time, but for someone who thinks using gross stripping is frustrating.
In the end, it remains impressive for its price, but it is not worth three times the price, I experienced live with an Epiphone purchased together. At both finishes as the use we can see the difference, there is still a sense!

SOUNDS

I speak a little in the previous paragraph.
The sound is good, I do not see the need to change the microphone, they are perfectly at the height of the assembly. Compared to the sound of P90 godin (SD) is a little more dense but it's still very usable for fun.
The only complaint the general resonance when tapped from the twelfth fret of the low strings, there is not good at all .... but who will play up there? Still, this is a characteristic of good guitar, it sounds everywhere ...
Regarding the handle, I saw someone talking about a type 50, I got something that looks more like 60 ... finer than the Epiphone eg Epiphone standard plus pro.
FYI, I tested with the beautiful carvin preamp and amp Peavey QuadX fifty-fifty and a Line6 Vetta amp.

OVERALL OPINION

I did that for two or three weeks, not playing much as default microphone!
What I like the most, the price of course! Having a guitar at this price it's unexpected, it was anything but a plaything in the hands!
What I like least, the work to do it to make it reliable.
Other models before you buy, the Epiphones, the Godins, fender, yamaha ... but not Gibson!
Value, good as unparalleled miraculous but still not either, she gives a little more for the price, it looks like a guitar and not a toy.

Definitely made with specifications to flow on the stock parts,
this little gem is a blend that comes from China.

This is not a GIB. The sound is very interesting. it is naturellemnt crunchy.

UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

sound: very bold and very finally jazz. perfect for a solo as Where we start by David Gilmour. the pickups are a little rough when playing chords while Gibson will remain very clear. can not do anything with. it is not made for the funk, for example.

OVERALL OPINION

She is beautiful. for € 125, it is really taking any chances and if you like change, it will be disappointed. Goldtop one at this price, it's crazy ...

Purchased in late 2011, they arrived by series very very limited at the time (had to be reactive!).

China, gloss, gold carved table top of course, is quite clear wood color.
Rosewood, inserts typical Gigi, set neck, of course.
Mechanical vintage type but beware, unlike those Gigis then take very good agreement. If you want change you need to drill bigger delicate.

Frets correctly installed, nothing exceeds it's all good.

The profile of the neck is fat 50s, like my les paul studio worn Gigi brown, delicious.

UTILIZATION

First, only two negative points encountered:
The nut was not cut quite so many strings too high, I had a job and it is difficult to achieve correct.
The welds were sloppy, just need to resolder all (iron alone, no need wire actually). As I intend to customize not important.

The guitar weighs his weight, ouch. But what a pleasure to play, the neck is a delight and her vacuum is already very good.

Compared to my Gigi handle me right appears less (minimum action without bordering is a little higher) despite adequate adjustment of truss-rod. This is especially noticeable when the box is 12me.

SOUNDS

Stock mics are much better than the price suggests, and different Gibson original in that they are adapted to their position (neck-bridge, in Gigi is the same twice) and the neck is rwrp for cancellation of parasites in an intermediate position.
Their sound is more cunning, less fat, more than I like Gigi (I have a 60s tribute), and the absence of parasites through can save your skin in concert (I exaggerate only!).

I like experimenting with other configurations of microphones that's all for this chapter ...

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar has a very gibson feeling more than his sister that I recently acquired and holds up well distance (not badly played for 16 months) in the sense that the frets do not wear out prematurely and the handle has unchanged.
