This site features Lag.

- Head: Rosewood, maple logo
- Mechanical: High precision
- Head Nut: Graphite
- Adjustment Rod: Double meaning
- Neck: Mahogany, screwed, satin varnish
- Fingerboard: Rosewood
- Frets: 22, Silver-Nickel, Jumbo
- Markers: Pearloid
- Body: Mahogany, gloss
- Pickups: 2 Alnico humbuckers
- Bridge: Fixed
- Electronics: 2 volumes + 1 independent master tone, 3 position pickups selector
- Hardware: Black Satin
- Strings: D'Addario EXP

That is, the characteristics that I found:
The so-called mechanical precision are absolutely not do, plastic / metal low-end
Not splittable humbucker (2 son, low magnetization, has a non-removable center pin molded ===> see my opinion on the subject at the end)

UTILIZATION

The handle is great, nothing to say.
Nevertheless, it must always be set at the trussroad, especially the Nut is a disaster.
I explque:
string original 9/42, string height acute home on the first fret = 0.45 mm ===> delirium. therefore necessarily false guitar on the first 3 boxes.
Height of the strings on the first 3 frets = 0.25 mm. Strings verge on the first 2 frets ...

It was therefore necessary to readjust the nut on the underside and disassemble. Another solution and replace the nut and re bled all the strings.
For your information, I changed the strings to 10/46, the trussrod was set 2 times and the mechanics were replaced. Now it works perfectly.

If you do not make these adjustments yourself, hope that your dealer knows it.
Too bad for those who have purchased on the net!!

SOUNDS

Compliqés not, they are shit ...
I tested on a Roland Cube RX, a Yamaha THR10 amp and a Tube Black star HT1R.

Let me explain:
Impossible to touch a rope without a huge buzzing apparaisse.Pas it good!
3 position selector faulty jumps alone to return to the center and therefore bad contact. Not good that!
Potentiometers that crack ... bad.
As for pure tones, very average, brouillones where all frequencies are mixed, not allowing her to get really clear, despite an output level of microphones not that high.

Want to take the guitar on the wall!!! I did not.

OVERALL OPINION

Purchased in December 2012, I had to replace everything on this guitar.
Here are the changes:
Replacement of two microphones with a Seymour Duncan Alnico 2 Pro Chavalet and a gibson 496R in neck.
Replacement by three potentiometers models worthy of the name, the 2 volume with push-pull
Replacing the selector 3 positions
Reffection and replacement of all electrical wiring, the wire from the selector being crushed / pinched under the Bridge Pickup
Registration of Nut and modification bleedings
Two trussrod adjustments had to be necessary
Mandatory replacement of mechanical ...
Using the Dremel to the inside of the box to allow proper positioning of the son and prevent them make crushed by the microphones.

Total cost of the operation about 350 euros +, note that my dealer for over 30 years in the guitar I did not take labor for these odifications. I efffectué more than half myself.

Now the guitar is a marvel, but all it took effort to do so, I think that's a lot! I now love this guitar, but it cost me over 600 euros, without labor oueuvre.

So we say thank you that? Well thank you Mr. Lag.
In any case, never in my life I will not buy a guitar Lag, especially as I saw easels loose on acoustic and other incidents on the mark.
