So for access to acute and stability I would say it is really perfect for playing but sitting upright the "hollow" of the guitar that is placed on the knees is too forward and so the guitar is too in rear so it easily has cramps if we play long in acute ... and like all the weight is discharged to the rear so it is less stable.
If I compare stratocaster shaped guitar that I have, the Strat is much more stable and easy access to acute sitting but against the EC1000 is much more stable standing because of its weight is the "hollow" (sorry I do not know how a name is) much more narrow than the TARS '.

The other point I make is that the handle is round and looks more like that of a quitar classic: it is very thick but broad ...

If not for the rest, the two opinions prcdants really very good restaurants account the characteristics of this guitar is an exceptional instrument.

UTILIZATION

First surprise: the weight, I was expecting a big les paul, ec-1000 is rather light and very well balanced.
Second surprise: the quality of finish, everything is perfect! Perfection!
The abalone inlays are beautiful, the key is nice.
Jumbo frets may be surprising at first, but you get used to very quickly.
The blocantes auto mechanics are really good practices and take the tuning (I play in drop C #)
The cuts are really well placed.

SOUNDS

The pickups are very accurate, I can not find that cold. with a good set of equa on the amp and changing microphone, you can have clean sounds pretty cool even (though my conf is not worn "clean," Peavey 6505 + with bbe sonic stomp loop and on the chain just a tuner and a maxon OD808 for boost)
For the sound distortion is downright fiesta ...
The set neck allows a very nice sustain, the guitar has serious respondent, whether on large or heavy rhythmic palm mute as melodramas.
My amp plays as I think more with Bonus boost (I use a maxon OD808 reissue) is the downright blow to melt grandma
I like the general tone for my plsu pleased because I bought it blind ^^
and in the end I fell madly in love.
I play pop-punk with a big touch of hardcore (or even a little Alternative or post rock) and in the end it is very much the sound that I wanted to have. It is ultimately very versatile!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it only for a week, but I did a repeat of three hours in a row above.
I had several guitar mainly a strat Tom Delonge, which I tired a bit over time (SH8 Seymour, a little too fat or sloppy sometimes, even though I still love to play with).
Ben for me the value for money is excellent, I got 400 euros with strap locks, a nice strap and cover.
Some minor flaws due to the fact that it is secondhand but nothing that disrupts the sound.

Yes, I do it again this choice without hesitation. I wanted for 5 or 6 years so I happy with my choice and given the secondhand on which I fell I will not hesitate!

I got this off music 123, the left handed version, which cost $850 (about £500, which when considered is less than half the price of a right handed one in the u.k! worth a trip to the u.s just to save the money, plus its impossible to get a left handed one over here)

this thing is definetly worth the trip! originally, i was looking for something with a whammy bar, a strat or ibanez rg1570, but then i saw this thing and just had to get it, whammy or no whammy. its looks amazing, brilliant colour and finish, mines the red one, the bodies butifully contoured, like a les paul, but not as heavy, and i havent even mentioned the EMGs, which gives it amazing zakk wylde like tone, a Tonepros bridge, which keeps it perfectly in tune, or sperzel tuners, which make re-stringing so easy and takes no time at all. it also has 24 frets rather than 22, and a great fast neck.

the only improvements which would be nice would be if instead of two EMG81s, they put an 85 or 60 in to give more variation. i changed my bridge one to a 60, a much deeper tonal pickup when distorted, and gives the guitar a much better clean sound, which isnt too hot with the 81s. and due to the clever people at EMG no souldering is required. all you need to connect one conector to another. they could mabee change the inlays to just normal white, but im just nitpicking

qualitys top notch, mahogany body is solid as a rock. not easily dented like my epi SG, and set neck gives it a nice solid feel also

this thing is the shit! if you like your heavy tonal sound of the likes of zakk and dime ( riff in peace brother dime), this is for you. even if you dont you need to check this out, as there is a semour duncan option availible (right handers only i think?) the best next thing to a les paul and for less than half the price.

Bought it at samash for around 850. One of the best investments ive ever made!

Lets start with the pick-ups...EMG 81s!!! They are so nice and hot i love them! However the clean sounds a little processed but still not bad at all.Bodys mahogany sounds great nice and solid.It has tonepros! barely ever needs tuning.The finish is beautifal! the neck is eyepopping! its dripping in abalone inlay and white/creme binding.Mine had the black finish with gold hardware.Jaw dropping

Absouloutly nothing! Except however my one small complaint is theres only a slight variety between your neck and bridge because the 81s sound similar...however not much too make a complaint.

Simply Amazing.Built tough looks like it will last a long time.Ive had great experiences with esp in the past.Any problems would most likely easily cleared up with there customer service as any ive had have been!

If your into playing metal...thrash...its great you even pull some classic rock...blues and indie sounds ouyt of it! Definitly a keeper! go out and buy it

Guitar made in korea, but of unparalleled quality, little sister of the ESP.
THE magic of form Paul, 24 round boxes lined with pearl and abalone, glossy black finish, the beauty of the instrument will leave you stuck! The fixed bridge and mechanical self-locking gold are a pure marvel.
simple adjustments, 1 volume, 1 tone and a 3-position selector.

UTILIZATION

Channel pleasant, very fast, the hand back on it and off you go solo in hell!
Thurs impeccable, access to acute nickel. Guitar very light compared to the "real" Gibson Les Paul. But the sound is to go is the light weight allows a perfect grip.
The sound? Look no. It's the sound!

SOUNDS

Fits all style with EMG pickups to 81, as clean as saturated.
But must recognize that these kids ptits Metallica ESP n'on not by chance! The EMG 81 is without doubt the best microphones "metal" in the world! there is no comparison.
The saturation is extreme, incredible sustain, gain enormous, magical overtones .... short sound came out of nowhere. For the thrash / speed par excellence!
As in the neck position that bridge you will not be disappointed, it is a machine created for the metal, but also beautiful in its clean (one, fade to black, oh call the Ktulu .....)!

OVERALL OPINION

I bought this beautiful skyscraper in 2003, and I used it for 2 years. I have since sold and bought instead a LAG morgane Supreme, which I like as much. But it is not comparable. The eclipse 1000 LTD Deluxe guitar is a black character, powerful, rich, in his inimitable and incomparable. IN ADDITION superb, but plugged Metal over-all! For a reasonable price!

The finish of the EC-1000, is irreparable ^ rochable, and it is especially the handle bleuff me, the quality of wood used is impeccable. L is the difference between made in korea and made in indonesia, korea la la, is impeccable.
It's a metal guitar ax, but that laiise go, too, sounds blues or jazz, for calmer.
It is a small bomb, which was really seduced ......

I've had six months and I love everything about this guitar, I would say it has the advantages of Gibson (sounds hot, comfort ...) and without its inconvnients (weight, price ...) and in addition it has a handle 24 boxes and electronic active.
I would do this choice by closing his eyes.

Well I'm gonna to do you a demo in writing, you can imagine, this can give a high gain tube amp with EMG 81 and 60 eh. J'dirais just that on the VK 100 cleans are a bit too pops and respondents, with active pickups ca does not help.

C'que love actually apart from the sound that I could find with many other ESP LTD is the aesthetics of this guitar is truly exceptional. Otherwise I took the EC500 with the same pickups this guitar ^ ^ Beautiful!
I just tried the Les Paul Standard from Gibson in the same store at the same time ... the portfolio has ruled.
Well the price hurts in the ass, I could pay half the pr the same sound, but for such an aesthetic, bah gotta say it deserves to be hurt in the ass ^ ^

UTILIZATION

Great guitar, period. When it first came out I knew I wanted it, even with the nasty abalone binding all over and the hideous model number at the 12th fret, i still wanted it.

It is, and I dare to say, the most ergonomic LP shape I have ever played. Compare it to every other LP shape guitar on the market, you will not get one as comfortable as this one. Yes even the PRS ones are quite good but this just out does it with all the contours, the thinner overall body and the light weight!

Not only does this LP shape guitar have 24 frets, but it's got just enough of a neck contour to play up there!

And the stock EMGs are a great starting point for a great sounding guitar. Players used to have to modify guitars to fit them and now they come stock on almost all of ESP's line, how convenient!

SOUNDS

Great sounds with the stock EMGs. If metallica, slayer and zakk wylde can use the same pickup sets for years without troubles and still sound great then you know the pickups are worth while. EMGs have been around since the early 90s and have taken off and have now become something of a bipolar pickup, people either love it or hate it. The active thing is the hit or miss part as well. It's difficult to properly judge something like this because we, especially as guitarists are so resistant to change, we are so conservative when it comes to new innovations that are completely unique from what we're used to. Only a few of us are actually willing to go out and experiment and accept that the world today is not going to be the same as it was before.

How does this all apply to the tone of the guitar? It's a completely modern twist of a classic. ANd that's how one should take it as, nothing else. And considering the guitar in that manner, it is excellent.

The 81 is thick, raunchy distortion with easy harmonics, plenty of overtones and sustain. Great! Cleans are ok, can dirt up with hard strumming, a tad thin though.

While the cleans are also quite good on the neck pickup. The 60 being one of the cleanest pickups I've heard with such an acoustic quality to it! Sounds good distorted too, thick and smooth but not muddy!

OVERALL OPINION

A great guitar, period. Comfortable, shreddable and looks great. Minus the abalone and the logo at the 12th fret it would be a perfect guitar for me and I would've kept it for more years than I already had. I never had a problem with it aside from such and played many shows with such a beast, it has always sounded great!

ESP is a company not to be messed with, they know what they're doing and they know how to make high quality products at affordable prices! Sounds great, plays great. That's all that matters.

This is a guitar made by ESP, a Japanese company. However, it is an LTD guitar, which is manufactured by their subsidiaries who operate in Korea and Indonesia. This has a Les Paul style shape, so it has the two volume and one tone knob under the strings, as well as the pickup selector (three-way) in the upper left hand corner (from a right-handed guitar players perspective). There are 24 frets, two EMG active humbucking pickups, as well as a Mahogany Body and Neck. The guitar aslo features a rosewood fingerboard.



UTILIZATION

This guitar certainly has easy access to the top frets, as it has 24 of them total and a massive LP style cutaway. The frets are also HUGE, so that makes them easier to access at the top. I don't really like how big they are in general, that makes the guitar require a heavier approach that I find tasteless. It's a bit heavier than some of the guitars that I've played but It's certainly not the heaviest. The guitar that I played did not get nice sounds easily, and it didn't have a great setup so it loses points for that.

SOUNDS

I really don't like the kinds of sounds that this guitar makes. I've played the made-in-Japan counterpart, and while that guitar isn't my cup of tea either, it definitely plays and sounds better than this. This guitar sounds good for metal, but I honestly wouldn't even recommend it that highly to metalheads. This is mainly because it has almost no dynamic response, and no tone that I would even remotely call tolerable. Sure, the active pickups will help eliminate noise from the most intense, gut-punching distortions you can find, but that is a small advantage when compared to how awful the clean tones are. For a guitar that is shaped like the Les Paul, it sure sounds nothing like it. You can get a guitar that gets super-heavy without sacrificing clean tones, just look at the nicer ESP models for that.

OVERALL OPINION

I would say that unless you are a beginner metalhead avoid this guitar. The price is good but this guitar doesn't even justify that cost. Not many guitars do these days, but there are at least some benefits to other guitars. I have tried a few ESP guitars and none of them were great but this was particularly uninspiring.
