ESP LTD EC300AT
Published on 12/15/02 at 15:00Mars Music closeout sale 11/02- it looked so fine & sounded so sweet I had to get it to expand my arsenal- paid $400!
It's sort of a cross between a LP, a Hamer semi-hollowbody, & a Guild Blueshawk.
It has great warmth & harmonics - must be the mahogany block- with unbelievable sustain- better than my Hamer import double-cutaway & it's very light.
It grabbed my attention because of it's looks- white with gold hardware.
The variation in tone is really good.
The bridge pickup is very high pitched and will cut through the band mix quite well.

The bridge pickup is 'thin' but you could use another guitar for shredding or tweak out your effects/amp emulation.
The back is not sculpted in any way so you can't kick back & relax w/o it digging into your ribs- probably an LP copy 'feature'
Very good quality for a Korean import- they have their cloning down to an art.
No defects to be seen, so far.
If you want a semi-hollow body sound this is a great buy. The range of sound you get is great. For me it was either get a Roland VG-88 Guitar emulator or buy more guitars.
You can't have too many guitars!

Channel 24 frets, EMG-HZ (which I replaced with a kit Zakk Wylde: EMG 81 in bridge and a 85 for the handle)
Fixed bridge.
2 knobs and 1 volume knob to position 3 Tone Slecteur the "Gibson".
UTILIZATION
The handle is trs enjoyable to play rhythm (which is my case), it easily reaches Most recent internship boxes without contortionist ...
It is much more than a Les Paul lgre table trs and comfortable, the back is hollowed out so that the belly of the guitar is based against the scratches.
Personally, I've Mount of EMG active so the sound that it is simply monstrous desire! lol

I plug in a Peavey Bandit 112, and it's up!
OVERALL OPINION
I have a few months and I'm really not.
The report qualitprix is excellent as it should be remembered that the ESP.
I would do this election if the opportunity arises Submitted!See less01 - Lud'Published on 01/21/10 at 06:01 (This content has been automatically translated from French)Made in Core
I bought mine in 2004 or 2005, so I have a few steps back.
Les Paul type guitar so all mahogany set neck 24 jumbo frets, rosewood fingerboard.
The handle is round rather, the opposite sleeves Ibanez
I have the nut virtual home for a earvana to gain accuracy and it works great.
Tune O Matic bridge fixed.
2 1 voulme a tone switch 3 positions
team behind two EMG HZ unconvincing, I have replaced by a 59 cot seymour handle and a Bill Lawrence L 500 XL cot easel.
As this guitar is really comfortable on the open tuning and tunings very low, I grant Si La grave or open with ropes (very) large rods.
The varnish and guitar GENERALLY sontbien finished.

UTILIZATION
The handle is very easy, CASC is the 24th most ais but not the purpose of this type of instrument.
The dcoupes plutoit are clearly seen for the forearm. No worries ergonomics, weight did not gn.
SOUNDS
The original pickups are not bad, just that the sound does not please me too, I prefer the EMG guitars are alder, I find them more appropriate.
From memory, with the emg, versatile sound silent, sounds pretty clear taient.
Withthe config mics I mount it, it's perfect for his aggressive thrash / death metal in the bridge. The 59 makes a sound LOTS round and warm with a lot of bass.
With the original pickups, it is expected to slender sounds of the pan, it's still a guitar that is made and think for the metal.
OVERALL OPINION
I have this guitar for several years, I like its shape, finish.
What I like least is the original pickups.
I would do it without hesitating choiceSee less00
