This guitar, like all others produced by our artisan luthier prfr is manufactured in his shop in Vernon, in Normandy, one hour drive from Paris. Factory with all the care he has used his productions bring you, this is a gorgeous Les Paul guitar, a work of art as I have just seen.
Here is a listing of materials and Retailer of the hardware used to make the beast:
Mahogany body and neck of Honduras. A body PICE; handle ONE PICE (that is, that even the head is one pice of wood: the head of the small wings do not fall timber, add the central part of the head, like any Gibson).
Ond table bookmatche Saddle: A beautiful pice of wood, with waves trs brands ... absolutely beautiful!
Touche bne of Congo.
Head in ebony veneer of Congo (not with plastic!).
Electronic plate in Rabl (dyed mahogany).
Stub handle with ebony inlay in pearl gray.
Repre key trapzode pearl gray.
Overlay "Qurey" pearl gray on the head with a diamond pearl gray (Manir of the Les Paul Classic).
Nut in Tusk.
Hardware: Schaller for all: mechanics, brige and tail piece, all golden.
Micro Gibson Classic 57 in the neck position, and a copy of classic 57 in bridge, manufactured by a craftsman lectronicien Pigalle (but I can not remember the name ... I'll find it ...).
For the rest: switch, potentiomtres: it is a Les Paul, it is not MUP ...
Aesthetics, he details what is not found on the Gibson Les Paul ... and this is normal. With Qurey, one takes any fawn well above what is offered by the brand amricaine. Three points of pearls are placed on the heel ebony, and three others on the handle at the Premire box. The effect is qu'esthtique, but it gives him a charm that no one else has.
The pieces of wood are absolutely sublime: Honduras mahogany that I have on this guitar is a very elegant wood with veining fairly straight (versus what I could see other pieces of mahogany, from Bolivia), and is relatively Lger (guitar even when PSE 4.7 kg), but we have a mahogany case moderately dense, which n is not worse.
I'll post pictures and articles that continue in the days ahead.
For now, you can visit the following website: www.myspace.com / ultimategear, pictures of the Les Paul available.
