Best value:
Excellent
Standard features of a LP form:
- 22 boxes
- Head 3 +3,
- 2 humbuckers,
- Adjusting volume and tone
- 3 position switch
- Wooden handle light (maple?)
- Key dark wood (rosewood?)
Differences:
- Body of polymethylmethacrylate, better known in France after the trademark Plexiglas, and in English under the generic term 'acrylic'.
- Pitch slightly longer than a LP (+ 2cm approx)
Default:
- There is a canal between the bored cavity and tailpiece microwave to bring it to ground, but on mine this thread was not there ... of shots, a lot of background noise on the guitar. A little bit of soldering iron and the problem was solved
Made in china.
UTILIZATION
The first surprise is the weight! I was expecting from lightweight plastic, but the guitar is about 3 kg more than my Lag Imperator 1000!
Getting started is very easy when you're used to the LP form.
The pitch a chouillat longer gives the impression of having the boxes larger and therefore more room for fingers in the treble.
For audio, you connect, you put the knobs to max and go.
SOUNDS
The second pleasant surprise is the sound. Much more punchy than the Seymour Duncan in my Imperator ... Weight and body rigidté plexi also lengthens the sustain.
This guitar is doing in all styles, both solo, clear sound, so that jazz 50's power chords, its crunchy '.
The clear sound is more Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music as Davig Gilmour of Pink Floyd. Crucnhy sound, it's more Devo AC / DC.
We would play all night to exhaust all directories if its weight therefore no end by reminding you to take a break ...
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 1 month. This is my seventh guitar, I kept four so far. That one, I'll keep it too!
+ + I love fishing microphones and sustain general.
+ The handle is comfortable
- Weight ... ouch
- Obviously, the Skylark logo on the head is less prestigious than others ...
Excellent value for money. If you see them pass over the bay, go for it!
