15 frets
Curved handle at the 7th fret

The handle is very nice. For someone who will celebrate his 80th birthday he does not catch a hair! Access to the treble is fairly good, this has mainly been studied banjoline for standard use (1st to 7th fret). Good ergonomics, but how can it be otherwise in an instrument so small ...

Hmm ... PERFECT! I am country music, bluegrass and old-time and that I could find better, I so love the banjo, a banjoline of 1930 !!!!! So basically it sounds banjo-necessarily-but open back banjo, not very strong and not very clear. But old-time level we can find better! All traditional music (such as Irish American) who...…

All traditional music (such as Irish American) who pass on this instrument pose an atmosphere ... One would think back a century ago!
The ideal instrument for a mandolin player who would have enjoyed playing the banjo, but who got scared into taking the left hand sleeve of 1m and a lot of tabs on the right hand
OVERALL OPINION
It's been several years since I use it. What I like most is its sound. It sounds oldtime, really, close your eyes it's like income in Louisiana in the XIX century ... I tried several model Banjoline before taking this one. Most models had decorative, it is rare to find true banjoline. When I came across a Kalamazoo (Gibson is the shit! Made in workshops Gibson in Kalamazoo from 1920 to 1940!) I have not looked at the price ... $ 300 + 400 € for repair (changing frets, neck straightening, skin cleaning, oiling sleeve, adjusting ...) it is not nothing but the argus for instruments Kalamazoo is the same as for Gibson (from 800 € to 3000 € for a banjo or guitar folk!) and it's not for nothing. You need the money but we certainly do not regret it. With experience I will ever be that choice, rather than 2 times. It is rare to find such an instrument and even rarer to find it less than 800 euros!
