« Mesa Boogie Road King »

Published on 08/08/04 at 15:00
I purchased the road king from music villa in bozeman montana. I paid $ 2500, I also bought the boogie 4x12 traditional slant cab to go with it. All in all I paid about $ 3300 for the set.

I love the fact that this is such a versitile amp. I have only been playing for a little over two years, but I wanted an amp I could grow into, an amp that would provide me with ALL the tonal ranges of the best amps out there, and I wanted to ONLY have to buy one amp, ever. Beleive me this amp delivers that and more, I haven't found a tone that I could not duplicate. Also I like the fact that I dont have to mess around with any overdriven stomp boxes in my fx chain, less to worry about. If I were any of you I would pay the extra moolah for this amp, it's the last you will ever buy, unless you happen to be a counterfiet digital guru.

I dont like the fact that I have a traditional cab, I would love to have a road king 4x12 cab

Construction is awsome, I can bang this thing around without worry, though I would never.

If you want an amp that can deliver whatever tone you want when you want it, this is your rig. save up the extra bucks and go for it, you won't be disappointed, unless you like the sound of souless digital modelers.
