UTILIZATION

Touch is enjoyable for a keyboard of this range, the dynamics often imprcise, but I'm not a pianist, then a does not matter. In contrast, controllers and pitch modulation are binary, which puzzles me a keyboard that also offers many potentiomtres Control.

Well I installed with my laptop without problem,
that never stuck! the audio quality is good compared to many of cards ...

Reduces Size, USB, Varta's intgre ... Everything is good allchant!
Unfortunately there is no MIDI out on it ... So soft steering only.

It comes in a gig bag, TRS end, lightweight and not require power supply: USB power serves.
Inputs and sories CAR! it's really weird but it's even better than the mini jack.
The headphone output is also an optical SPDIF port.

The faade has 8 knobs finish the CONTRL values. Steering synths for example.

UTILIZATION

Touch is neither enjoyable nor dsagrable: it is a touch flat! keys do not sink and it was a bit like playing on a laptop keyboard. But I got used to.

Prs since a month now I use it like crazy! in fact it allows me to write on my laptop, with a latency trs acceptable. I dpanne a synth when necessary: ​​one launches a standalone virtual synth and presto!

Is the price that made me choose it: I was going to buy Korg microKONTROL, but the silent one even cheaper ... and as he sound card, I ru on!!

Dpart it to silent over 300 euros, now I pay 199 euros. Not say what the price of such quality of sound and keyboard Intgr is terrible.

The idea of ​​having a small controller keyboard to lug around I liked the show complete with an audio interface does not hurt ...

UTILIZATION

The touch keyboard is certainly not a nice key travel halved, but this trick that allows the PCR-1 as one of the finest keyboard on the market and the only one that is truly portable I think.

The only one that seems to me to compare or even surpass it on paper, the Behringer clone that made it even though I could not try it: what in fact the strength of the Behringer to a time when my PCR-1 seems pretty good old ...

In short, if you want a small keyboard to take anywhere, you may be more to your case about it on the toys of Akai. After that, I find it unfortunate that the product has been discontinued. I guess that Behringer is the only competing in this field ...
