Toontrack close their Country Month with the release of the Country Grooves MIDI pack, a MIDI drum library.

According to Toontrack, this collection of MIDI files focuses on providing basic, sturdy drum grooves that can serve as the backbone in a mix without overpowering any other element. It is announced as going from old school swing and classic country shuffle to the more modern pop and rock-influenced grooves heard in today's mainstream country, and from ballads to Americana. Its content differs from that included with the brand's recently released Traditional Country EZX.

Designed to work with EZdrummer, EZdrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 2, Toontrack's Country Grooves MIDI pack is optimized for kits including 1 kick, 1 snare, 1 tom, 1 floor tom, 2 crash cymbals, 1 ride cymbal.

Features include:

  • A total of 497 grooves/fills individually played by Thor-Biörn Sandström
  • Ballad, midtempo, uptempo and double-time
  • 2/4, 4/4 and 6/8 in swing and/or straight feel
  • Song structures include intro, verse, pre-chorus, chorus, bridge, fills and ending variations

MSRP is €25. More details at www.toontrack.com.
