IK Multimedia has announced the release of the StompIO Upgrade -- a reduced price, hardware-only version of StompIO available to all registered users of AmpliTube 2, AmpliTube 2 Live, Ampeg® SVX, AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix™ and AmpliTube Metal.
Thanks to the AmpliTube X-GEAR software supplied with the StompIO upgrade, all “Powered by AmpliTube” users will be able to immediately control their software live and in the studio. Together with the launch of the StompIO Upgrade, an enhanced collection of software is now bundled with the full version of StompIO which now includes all five IK “Powered by AmpliTube” software packages straight out of the box: AmpliTube 2, Ampeg® SVX, AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix™, AmpliTube Metal (formerly only for previously registered AmpliTube 2 users) and AmpliTube X-GEAR (giving a total of over £900 worth of software in the box).
Now for the first time, users can fully control a massive software-based set-up LIVE, with over 150 models of highly sought-after, award-winning gear, operating the same way as a traditional floor processor-without needing to connect a keyboard, monitor or mouse to the Mac or PC.
The new StompIO Upgrade Version costs €599.99 ex.VAT and is available for all currently registered users of AmpliTube 2, AmpliTube 2 Live, Ampeg® SVX, AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix™ and AmpliTube Metal. Furthermore, for a limited time only, by purchasing the StompIO upgrade, customers will also receive a free downloadable version of AmpliTube Metal (worth €199.99 ex.VAT).
The full version of StompIO costs €799.99 ex.VAT and now includes the entire collection of five “Powered by AmpliTube” software packages: AmpliTube 2, Ampeg® SVX, AmpliTube Jimi Hendrix™, AmpliTube Metal and AmpliTube X-GEAR (for a total software value of over €1000).
