Ashdown Perfect Ten MiniRig

This amp transistor is very special, because it consists of three parts:
A head of 65 watts RMS
2 baffles 10 "
- Head Size: 170 x 445 x 225 mm
- Cabinet size: 390 x 445 x 260 mm

We can connect its pretty low, a headset (not to wake the neighbors) and a CD player to play with his favorite bass player or guitarist.

The settings will work:
Output Gain / Bass / Middle / Treble / Output Level and little more: The Deep, which allows you to add some bass to it all, so a warmer and rounder.

UTILIZATION

I use it mostly to work for me. I am very satisfied with the quality of this amp. The sound is very nice, the amp is compact and frankly it has the look. I think to play this little club "combo" will suffice. I recommend it to many of my friends looking for a cheap amp that gives one of his bass amp and not a sound medium that hard ears.
From the beginning it was really a bass sound, find the setting and play!

SOUNDS

For my part I play a little bit of everything: Rock, hard, electro, jazz ... and I'm really pleased with this amp. I play it with my Fender deluxe or precision, or with my Rickenbacker 4003.
According to the config. microphones, and low settings of the amp, you can almost get no matter what his. But I really likes the hot side and rock!

OVERALL OPINION

So to have it for 6 months and given the value for money, please. If it again, I repeat the same amplifier.

Extremely simple setup, plug, play ... It sounds right away, it is!

SOUNDS

I played mostly post-rock in a formation of six musicians. I play all the time and fingers, so no need to sound non-standard (like slap, or crunch / mediator). My two basses have found a new friend with this MiniRig ... The sound is clear (no low slobbering rotting the mix). A simple SETTING THE EQ to switch from one universe to another, which would sound more punk or stoner.

Note that the pramp passs tends to saturate the 80% gain, but if we RULES ngligeable well legalization.

OVERALL OPINION

A head shot, I bought the MiniRig (200 euros on a classifieds site in the form of "corner") because that Ashdown is damn good (I test many times the MAG 300 and ABM 500), and I needed an amp with a handy little power, and I do not t the! The sound is super clean ... I was afraid of the lack of power, but the 65 W transistor actually do their jobs as part of rptitions or small scnes (gauge 100).

on the other hand, in a situation "studio" is not really high. But it is clear that this amp does not place himself in the high-end home Ashdown, and is not Designed to compete with names like Ampeg or Mesa.

A simple adjustment of the EQ to switch from one world to another who wants to sound more punk or stoner.

Note that the preamp tends to saturate past the 80% gain, but it's negligible if you set the EQ well.

UTILIZATION

Config very simple but effective, as usual with Ashdown ...
The equation is effective. It is possible to connect a cab for a more discreet, for example at home.

SOUNDS

Its clearly Ashdown. I have another config MAG 3 bodies in series and I find that sound.
The 65 watts have a really nice potato and what I believe to compete with 100 watt combos without problem.
I take all the cafes and concerts it holds the road in all kinds of formations, rock-oriented rather still, with battery.

OVERALL OPINION

Super happy with this mini 3 bodies, I would do this choice with your eyes closed. The 2 cabins can be a very good presence. Excellent value for money!
