Sommer Cable introduced the SEMICOLON 4 AES/EBU & DMX Patch Cable / Microphone Cable.
This 4-wire miniature microphone cable has a diameter of 5.8 mm and comes with dual shielding (helical Cu mesh screen + aluminium fleece). It can be cross wired for audio purposes, with a wire-to-wire capacitance of 40 pF/m.
It can be used as an AES/EBU or DMX cable due to its wave impedance of 110 ohms. The wires may also be split. Thanks to its small diameter it fits into tiny and miniature connectors such as 3.5 mm mini jacks, mini XLR or phono/RCA plugs. The outer sheath consists of a halogen-free/flame-retardant PUR jacket.
