Open Labs announced it will release the new Gen5 series of NeKo ™ and MiKo ™ (portable) keyboard production stations at the 2009 NAMM show.
Bump MP ™ , a 17-pad drum module controller with software sequencer, is designed to bring MPC-like functionality to the NeKo and MiKo. Included with Bump MP, is the first in the Master’s Series ™ sound library, exclusive to Open Labs ® . Featuring sounds from producer Denaun Porter (a.k.a Mr. Porter), Bump MP is designed to allows the user to create beats using “the most relevant sounds today.”
Riff ™, an new virtual instrument (VST) host developed by Open Labs, includes: Live Controls ™ , which is designed to allow the user to create virtual controls in real-time that can be mapped to various effects and other parameters. Advanced intelligence allows virtual controllers to control other virtual controllers to provide automation for virtual instruments and effects.
