The Ibanez Workshop has designed a new 5-string and shorter scale electric bass in the BTB Series.
BTB33 Volo specifications:

- Mahogany back/wings
- 5-piece Maple/Bubinga through-neck, BTB5 shape
- Rosewood fingerboard with 400mm radios, 24 medium frets and Abalone Dot inlays
- Nut width: 45mm
- Scale length: 33” (838mm)
- 2 Bartolini BH1 passive pickups
- Ibanez 3-band custom electronics with mid-frequency switch
- Mono-rail V bridge
- Graph Tech Black Tusq XL nut
- Factory tuning: C G D A E
- Factory strings: .032, .045, .065, .085 and .105
- Black Matte hardware
- Natural Flat finish
