UTILIZATION
I spend an Ibanez SRX 505 5 string bass in this beautiful, and the first thing that comes to mind is Wow!
The handle is a highway! What happiness through this round! Can afford settings with strings very close race with no rope no frieze.
Nice sustain, treble comfortable access to the trestle bridges separated prevents unwanted vibrations from adjacent strings, just put his ear to the handle without an amp to realize the quality of the violin! And at this price point, c ' is just great!
I was a bit scared when crossing the 5 to 6 strings, but the neck is so nice that everything was done spontaneously without any difficulty.
SOUNDS
Sound point of view, it's hard not to find his account as electronics offers a wide margin of maneuver.
I play a Fender Rumble 100w in a jazz quartet in Guadeloupe, where one moves from bebop to jazz funk, Latin, Caribbean and it is clear that everything is there!
Its powerful and modern for the slap, its crammed with medium to severe Pasto, all in some settings with the knobs of the equalizer.
OVERALL OPINION
I have this bass for about one month, I tried dozens of bass for almost two years in anticipation of a change, any more different from each other, from 500 to 3000 euros in total honesty, question was asked more after trying this Ibanez. I have a hard time to find faults, some very minor details to finish (it is still not a bass luthier), but it is in the details, so no question of fiddling!
The quality of violin making is impressive at this price point, the sounds obtained ultra versatile, I sincerely think that bass players looking for a quality 6 string bass should try this before coveting a coffee maker with more than 2000 euros. Here we report exceptional value, and I do it again without hesitation that choice!
