I bought this bass at Long and Mcquade for $700(Canadian). I bought it cause I wanted to get a better bass than the one I had.

I liked the overall sound. You can change the sound to more muffled tones to thumping kick drum tones. The feel of the neck was great too. The neck was very thin considering it is a 5 string bass.
The active pickups are awesome!!!

I didn't disklike it at all....

The construction was very good. The neck is a bolt on and the body is made of luthite.
The quality was very good and I am happy i bought it.

This bass is great for beginners or experts.
I strongly recommend it

I got this bass from a local used music store for an amazing $350. I personally thought this was a good deal, consitering the fact that at the time, the list price for one of these was nearly $850. So, i bought it asap!

THIS GUITAR IS AWESOME. i would recomend it for anyone who can find it, and has the money. It comes with 2 nice active pick-ups that are GREAT for slap-bass. Everything about it is great. The neck has no fret buzzes at all, which is something i'm very picky about. I don't know if it came this way, or adjusting was done, but it is nice. It's a 24-fret. it's got a REALLY good tuning system on it. i tune it for 15 seconds before a gig, and i'm good to go for the whole show. my own personal touch to this ax was to add an extra higher (c) string to it, instead of the conventional extra lower (b) string like is found on most 5-string basses. this enables you to have a better range for slapping, which i'm quite fond of. The design and color, and play-a-bility of this bass are amazing. everyone should defenetly try one out!

Theres nothing i don't really like much about it. when i bought it, it had a big crack in it in the back, which i didn't care too much for. Let's see here.. um.... nope, not really a whole lot wrong with it. you can play just about any style of music with it, it has a total of 6 knobs, 4 of which are for tone, and you can do whatever u want!

The construction was good, everything was nice. the only downfall is that if theres a chip in it, the color under the paint is a yellowish color, and it's hard to cover up.

This is a great bass, from beginner up to expert, i recomend it for anyone. try one out!

UTILIZATION

Channel enjoyable and fast ... despite being a little too round (I prefried handles fairly flat)
Access in good shape thanks acute
good ergonomics despite the use of luthite it is heavy but not as a Lespaul.
great versatility in the sounds ... big sound metal to slap his grace electronics.

SOUNDS

I chose it for its versatility (industrial rock to metal and rock)
I used to play the Police as well as paradiselost.
rglages are my bcp mdium and few acute. ibanez micro resents the grave if not too serious !!!!!!!

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using versatility 2001.Look gnial sounds but I think a change of pickups by EMG might be better because the pickups are Ibanez but the minutes of the 5th string could be better.
it is the catalog of ibanez! Snifff
for résumé, except smicros that are a bit limited for playing Death (this drool too!) is the bass that I love!

UTILIZATION

The bass is enjoyable play off set the weight that I find excessive.
The handle is accessible along its entire length aisment.
Rglages at the sound, it's not empty! There are many possibilities and it takes a while to get used to coping.

SOUNDS

The bass has a sound trs versatile and can be used in all musical styles.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought "by chance" (a music store bankruptcy) 6 years ago a prize dfiant all concurrently.
I use it as low-relief concert. My main bass is a Musicman Stingray 5 so much that the Ibanez has not had a "rescue".
Personally, I find compliqueargler and use and a little heavy.
I Rasht in the same circumstances but I Achteras not new at full price.

UTILIZATION

Channel enjoyable indeed. Trs to ais agus Accs.
The grip is trs ais (apart from the weight ... a little heavy, in fact), but even when well-balanced.
The sound is easily RULES. We can have it all ...

SOUNDS

I think it suits all types of music.
I play on a Bassman 100 and I played before on a small Peavey amp amp n'tait not great but the lower the compensation.
But little snag when the grave does not come out well. The microphone is involved. It is compensated even when the amp but hey ....

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for a year.
What I like most is the versatile versatility.
Against it by a trs low output (well I think). Compar a Jazz bass and a Stingray output level is low trs.
To be heard I have to put my amp gain and volume to half a quarter of its power, so with a Jazz Bass is sufficient that the gain is one-quarter and Volume 2 for a its most powerful.
Before I tried to buy a Cort B5, an Ibanez BTB 555 and an Ibanez K5 and a Mexican Fender.
The ratio quality price is correct I think.
With the experience so I do it again the same choice.

Enabled, this 5-string is luthite (body "composite" of a density over the whole body and on all models), 24 fret neck, precise mechanical, two microphones paved settings: a master volume, balance microphones A knob acute, serious and with medium frequency, original body shape.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice, easy as a ibanez respectable, not too wide and thin enough to cut small mains.La body allows seamless access to acute (one can not do more ...).
This series is nicknamed "Ergodyne" for perfect ergonomics for my taste.
Very good cut (table below for the strings and slap on the back to fit perfectly into the shape of the body) and balanced!
This bass is a real highway speed and sound (just a little time and experience to find the right settings!)

SOUNDS

I have this bass for 7 years and therefore I think a bunch of concerts ... Never a problem! I'm pretty loyal to Ibanez for cela.J have never had bad surprises on any model.
I always set my neck very low with a pull medium or medium-light.Ca never moved, nor Friss, or tune even with large temperature differences (I had to play once to -2 degrees for 2 hours !!!).
Sound level ... wow ... This is the most versatile bass I know for now. It has its specific (fairly neutral, it's true and it is also what I liked) good low (and so serious ... otherwise it sends strong as the amp'm not! I've never exceeded a quarter of the positive knobs bass / treble even if it is not quite as accurate as the other strings, it's true) and treble with an amp for a tweeter is the foot to slap the lens in such a difference but for me this knob on double medium with the frequency setting ... then there is simple one can have anything you want ... as its the infra low (eg for the dub, I swear-it really fart in the glass if desired) to the medium funky or even more aggressive metal, heavy rock or well rounded (blues style)!
In short, between settings tones, frequencies and micro scale ... we all have what you want!.
Now, sure, it has the defect of its quality: it is not typed on a particular sound or style.
I am obliged to put in 10 sound!

OVERALL OPINION

Now I will talk about what this ibanez fache:
-WEIGHT!-No photos, should not have fragilent shoulders and a good back.
It is heavy and frankly it is better a good strap. (I'm also a little jig ... style shrimp as they say in Britain)
His death-catalog!?? (Maybe its weight is for something because its price was extremely attractive for the low price / quality ratio)
-After 5 and 6 years, I joined two of the five mechanical laché.Elles who still work without problems (in fact they are still on) and do not go out of tune, they are just a whole little harder to turn, but good nonetheless!

That, at least, is my most accurate bass for 7 years and I do not part with it one day! (Or so because of my back ...). It's been one of my best choice of bassist!
