- It's not the bass in photos above. (The SR745 does not overlay the buttons and knobs 4)

- Manufacturing jap.

Body-Mahogany, Wenge key, tuning fork 34, so stick long enough, the radius of the key low (slightly curved), Accu-Cast B25 bridge, neck and bridge pickups respectively Ibanez DX5N and DX5B, all black hardware.

- 3-band EQ controls with 1V 1B VARIMID 3LC (4 knobs including 2 doubles: one handles the bass and treble, the second frequency of the mid and mid boost).

- The battery changes as a fuse in the back of the body, simple and effective.

- The body shape is very attractive, sleek and "slim" and finishing (Walnut for mine) make this bass very nice and comfort that has been lost, to my taste the latest Soundgear.

- Violin of very good quality, I could not compare with other SR latest, at least, for this model, the quality feels all angles.

8 / 10 because of the pickups, I would have preferred Bartolini, may be I would change one day.

UTILIZATION

- Personally, varnish sleeves, I am a buyer, if it sticks a little hot, and it hangs DNOC, in short, I knew could be a little too hands as, if not a little magnesia it slides alone . This is my first 5 string, I had to check the recount because the ergonomics and the fineness of the handle is such that the passage from April to May was done without problems (in comparison, I tried Squier P-Bass 5 string of friends, I had the impression of having a pole between the hands, which I was a little discouraged for 5-string).

- The shape lower body, slightly behind, allows full access to the treble. I tried a Rockbass in parallel, it had to fight some more.

- The weight is pretty well gone, a whole rather light. As I said above, this bass can boast a very good ergonomics.

- The control electronics is very simple, the knobs are very sensitive and provides efficiency and control of its very advanced. The only snag is purchased from OCCAZ, it took me some time and research to understand which knob was used for what.

SOUNDS

- From the first test, this bass is fishing, even on the Si (even in the, in my case), and accurate.

- I play mostly on a Hartke 3500 with 4x10 cabinet, and it was very easy to get all the sounds I was looking for, versatility is the appointment. However, some find the whole series like this aspect of SR that can sound quite contemporary displeasing. Not me, it's exactly what I wanted.

OVERALL OPINION

Very very good equipment, I bought it after trying to OCCAZ of Rockbass Corvette 5 (I was attached to it at first), Cort Artisan, which I was a big hit and I certainly would have taken if I n 'had not dug up this one.
Ergonomics, potato, versatility, ease of playing, I just realized after some research it looks furiously at the K5 Korn bassist, having only tr_s little info on SR745 on the internet, I m to advance any more, but good.
A very good bass that will make me a while.
