I paid £390 for my 5 string black Rockbass. I bought it in England in a really helpful music shop called Hands Music

This bass is the easiest i've ever played. I think it feels and plays better than anything Fender can cough up. (Thats just my personal opinion, sorry if i've offended anyone!) The string spacing is perfect and the 5th string really growls. And the shape! Oh the shape!

There is nothing bad about this bass. For me it is perfect. I would recommend it to anyone.

Smoothe curves and neck, good frets and great feel. This is obviously a bass that Warwick has pride in.

Buy this bass. THATS A COMMAND!!! You won't regret it i assure you. A must have for any new musicians seeking professional sound without breaking the bank.

Excellent active bass, for serious beginners. I happen to be one...

The sound is great, not too rich in harmonics, the overall quality of manufacturing, the look... Everything !

The setup hasn't been done correctly, but I guess it has to do with the retailer, not the instrument...

Amazing quality, designed in germany, built for most parts in China (that explains the relatively low cost). I've never seen such manufacturing quality coming from China before the RockBass. Impressive.

I would highly recommand this bass for beginners for two reasons : Its price, which is really aggressive for such a quality instrument, and its versatility (I've played few other active basses, especially Ibanez, during my buying process. IMHO, the Warwick is the only one that can still sound great without a battery).

5 string bass, Warwick dlocalise production in China. Alder body (very nice, the black paint is transparent lgrement) Bolt in stocky, rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets of good size. Two microphones MEC Jazz Bass type gold, electronic active (9V battery available dvissant trap which protects the electronic). Four potentiomtres: gnral volume, pickup balance, bass and treble.

UTILIZATION

This bass has a tiny body, a handle and a head pais quite impressive. Premire consquence: it pitches down. Grable's all done if they have a strap short enough, the game low on the lap is really untenable. Deuxime consquence: Access in irrprochable is acute, especially as the heel is trs profile. Troisime consquence: the game in the low position is quite tiring for the left hand. It's not unplayable, but you know.

Overall, despite the default of balance, the instrument is easy to play provided they do not attack so severe as a nag, I have not found that rglage frisette quickly without a high dmesurment action.

SOUNDS

The sound is fairly neutral, not color trs. For cons, the active electronic trs effective. to snore furiously, sometimes to the point of saturating Can I connect the other end of the jack. This bass has no personality of a Fender or Music Man, but it is comfortable everywhere. Let us be clear, this is not a high-end instrument, but for the most-all - does beginners as I am, has not sound bad at all.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this bass for a little less than a year and a half. the era, I tried a lot of dtach MODELS and is quite ahead. If I had the same choice to do today, I'd possibly be for one of its competitors, but I do not regret this purchase. Still, I'd replace it with a better balance low, to play without constant struggle against the weight of the handle.

UTILIZATION

My Previous Ibanez SR405 bass silent uen, trs to the handle end. Despite the big diffrence from the Rockbass, which has a handle pais enough, I did not t trsdrout. The handle is comfortable and trs for my part I course as easily as an Ibanez or a Cort.
ACCS Acute aus is pretty good, all the dernires frets are easily accessible.
The ergonomics of the bass is good, not because it is the thundering of measurements of a Warwick Corvette. It is relatively easy to handle and lgre. On the shoulder she too PSE.
No problem for slapper, if not a little cart Reduces strings (5 strings requires). If you have the money go towards an Ibanez or Warwick Broad Neck, with a spacing of 19-20mm bridge. But I have great hands and I get slapper with the standard map of the ROCKBASS.

The only complaint was a clear tendency to bend the head when playing seated. It distorts the position of the lower leg and maintaining ncessite when you stop playing. It feels that much less against the strap.

SOUNDS

It is a versatile low-rev, the sound is quite punchy, modern and round. The pickups are fairly hot, but not join the roundness and sweetness of a Fender JazzBass. If the rev is good for low Dfine this range.
