For less than 600 €/$, you can now acquire a 4 or 5-string electric bass designed in close collaboration with bass legend Marcus Miller. The instruments feature an 18V powered active tone circuit with a 3-band EQ that includes a dual knob for the midrange boost/cut and frequency sweep between 200 Hz and 1 kHz, and another dual knob to adjust the master tone and volume. A fifth knob will blend the pickups and a mini-switch gives you the ability to choose between active and passive operation.
The Sire Marcus Miller Signature collection features two models: the Jazz Bass style V7 available is 4 or 5 strings and a choice of swamp ash and alder bodies, and the more modern 4-string cutaway M3.
