Sound Magic has announced the release of PianoSR, described as a "Physical Modelling Sympathetic Resonance Generator".
By applying Physical Modelling technologies, PianoSR simulates Sympathetic Resonance while maintaining a small size and reasonable CPU usage, the company says.
PianoSR only generates Sympathetic Resonance based on incoming MIDI signal. So it is useful when used with other piano sample libraries which do not have Sympathetic Resonance function. It is designed to add color and “liveness” to all piano sounds and make it feel more real when playing.
Features:
PianoSR is available as a free VST plug-in for Windows.
