Introduced last July, the Accusonus Drumatom software for Mac and Windows 32 and 64-bit (except Windows 8), is now available for purchase at Plugin Alliance.
Drumatom removes leakage produced when recording drums with multiple microphones and thus makes mixing easier. The software uses a patented technology called Advanced Audio Analysis (A3).
For better results, Accusonus recommends analyzing all the drum toms, snare kick and overhead together without adding hi-hats and room mics. And if you’re still not satisfied, you have the ability to analyze each microphone separately.
Drumatom is available for $399 and you can download a trial version from www.plugin-alliance.com. Note that Drumatom is currently in beta version but totally functional. Full details at drumatom.com.
Accusonus will be available at booth 6847, Hall A at NAMM Show 2014 next week to demo the software.
