The Hofa 4U Series features three free utilities in VST2/3, AU, RTAS and AAX 32 and 64-bit plug-ins for Mac OS X and Windows.
4U ProjectTime analyzes the time spent on a project in your DAW. The GUI, which has been revamped in this version 2.0, shows the date the project was created, the time you spent on it (in hh-mm-ss) and you can pause the plug-in. It will stop counting when you close the project. Version 2.0 also adds a log in which you can add comments.
The 4U Meter, Fader & MS Pan is a Peak, Hold, EBU and LRA level meter and a Mid/Side decoder with Trim, Fader and Mute features, a mono/stereo switch and a panner.
Last, the 4U Goniometer and Korrelator features, as stated by its name, a goniometer and a correlation indicator for right/left and Mid/Side channels.
The goniometer displays three Peak (current stereo image), Peak-hold (max value) and Energy (energy of the stereo image) curves, and the magnitude is shown in dB. You can switch between these two meters.
To get these three free plug-ins, you’ll need the Hofa-Plugins Manager. If you are not a Hofa customer, you just have to enter your e-mail address at hofa-plugins.de to download it for free.
Happy Halloween and a great weekend to you all!
