Waves and Dan Dugan collaborated to recreate in the virtual world the Dugan Speech System Auomatic Mixing Controllers.
Called Dugan Automixer, this new Waves plug-in is designed for use in MultiRacks and allows for automatic mixing microphones connected on up to 64 channels in real time. The plug-in is designed for broadcast, conferences with multiple participants, houses of worship, etc.
The Dugan system will help reduce feedback, studio noises of comb filter effects coming from adjacent microphones, by automatically mixing the gain of each microphone in real time.
The plug-in is available in MultiRack Native format for $500 or MultiRack SoundGrid for $750. Waves adds that it is compatible with most of the mixing consoles. You can download a trial version from www.waves.com.
