For those who, like me, can ruin their fittings scratch just playing a few months, it ensures that the strings do not rust too fast, and it clearly MPROVING playing comfort (too soon after application, probably).
I have tried no alternative because I lasted long enough (always stored upright in boiboîte).
I understand that we can does not like the smell or the sensation, but if you kill the strings too fast, try a little.
