« too expensive »
Published on 08/28/12 at 08:12I use the dac for about a week, and I'M AGREE WITH ANY POINT PucelleDabidjan whose opinion is mentioned above, ie that dac is very good, the sound is Polished, with a peak "harsh" in acute but as a dac and exceptional low natural but not very present, of course, but more than 6000 €, I expect something more and this is not the case, it does the same job as a dac twice cheaper, except perhaps if there is indeed a chain of the same series;
I used F (t), Studer, 3d lab, Apogee, Digidesign 192 ..
Out of my lynx card AES16e AES / EBU 88.2 KHz ... DAC refuses!?! Yep, it has beautiful upsampler 384 KHz up, it does not accept more than 48 ...
So value for money poor or bad experience prevents me from investing in this machine that I would keep much longer.
