Yamaha will launch in May the UD-WL01 USB LAN adapter that allows some of their keyboards to communicate wirelessly with iOS apps.
The UD-WL01 adapter plugs to the Clavinova, Tyros and Motif XF keyboards via USB ad allows for wirelessly connecting your Apple iDevices. The WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) also allows for establishing a secure connection to a wireless router.
With the UD-WL01, you can wirelessly use iOS apps and web services (Tyros 5 only) offered by Yamaha. The brand currently offers the MusicSoft Manager, Repertoire Finder, NoteStar and Visual Performer apps for these keyboards.
The UD-WL01 adapter will be available in May with a US price of $120. You’ll find more details at usa.yamaha.com.
