- What kind of microphone?
It's a magic mike! It is that (turn) the voice.
- What technology?
By assumption I would say it's a dynamic mic with preamp and speaker integrated (all of which are of poor quality). It has an output line level mono minijack that allows you to connect directly to a mixer, and process the sound through the effects. It's great!
- What does it magic?
The sound is super dirty. There is a pitch shifter with 7 positions negative and 7 positive positions that cover roughly two octaves (one negative and one positive).
There is also a built-in vocoder, which is also affected by the adjustment of pitch.
OVERALL OPINION
- How long have you use it?
I own this mic for about 1990. I used a lot at the time as a toy, but I have made no records. I rediscovered in my barn in early 2006 and there it is connected to my mixer.
- What is so special that you like most and least?
It is unique. There is no one like him. Super dirty sound is inimitable. The characteristic I like least is that the built-in speaker does not work as well (sometimes it goes, sometimes it will not), but after 15 years is a bit normal. Thank God for the audio output, or I do not know what I would do!
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
No. Although I was tempted by the electric guitar with illuminated buttons and multicolored 2 watts integrated amp, but it was much more expensive.
- How would you rate the quality / price?
