UTILIZATION

The neck is super comfortable, it fits comfortably in your hand.
It is a light guitar, which suddenly, exudes a sense of fragility, but it is not!
Access to acute is not easy (you get used to that being said, the thumb is bent and here) but it's not really a guitar for this type of game Shredders go your way!

SOUNDS

This guitar is my main guitar and I'm pretty eclectic.
Long time I was the only guitarist in my group and it was enough to fill the space. I plugged it into a tube screamer and permanently switched to 'change her' I variais power shots picks, all on the neck pickup. Buggers and I really spent in the intermediate position (the pickups are in series, which gives a big boost volume).
Now I do a bit of everything and Dan never disappoints me. I very rarely use the bridge pickup because the sound is less "organic", it appears too.
After it is a bit limited for things typed 'single coil' (rhythmic funk, like this ...), the sound is a bit too 'full'.
But despite that, it has a wide enough range of sound, despite its apparent simplicity.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had six years.
Overall, I fell in love with this guitar. I saw, I wanted, so no, no testing of other guitars.
I like the single side, both at the sound of the look. A guitar with a will, I want to say. (.. Ah Syd Barrett)
The price / quality ratio is excellent. Only complaint: the mechanical origin, but it's good change.
So yes, without hesitation, I would do this choice.

Good features are quite detailed in previous reviews: lipstick pickups, 3-position selector, putting both the plant microphones in series (note the difference in level when switched) and is considered the reference sound of this Dano.

Vibrato not seen the material but super cheap, so almost soft to the fund, simply twist the handle a little vibrato to make

It is also the lightest guitar I've ever had / seen / played.

This guitar is very cheap in its design and manufacturing but it is correct. Given the price and sound, let's not quibble.

Level setting, I find the knobs a little too "all or nothing", especially the tone. So I'm using very little. Mostly, I leave in a central position on the selector pickups and I do not touch anything.
Sometimes a good lead saturated with the bridge pickup, but this is rare.

SOUNDS

This model is more faithful to the original as the latest edition (see the test Audiofanzine). The latter would sound more "profound", "blues" ... ah yes but no. I do not slide with. In fact, it serves me whenever I feel like its a very sharp and dry Telecaster. So a more "deep" .. no thank you.

It was my spare for years (until I bought a few weeks ago a Duesenberg Double Cat for the same kind of use).

With a slight crunch on a Vox amp is a guitar rock'n'roll that makes you want to rock riffs to Keith Richards or the good old punk at the Clash. It rings on all the amps I tried: Fender Deville, Deluxe Twin, Marshall JCM 800/900/2000 .. And even modeling software. This is top with Waves GTR or NI Guitar Rig.
Besides, I have one day a bookdesign components with using GTR. And when we do what the song in the studio with the band's guitarist, drummer wanted we found exactly the same type of sound that Dano of the model ... but impossible to satisfy with what we had at hand: Les Paul Custom Shop to € 2500, U.S. Strat and a Telecaster even closer. Yeah, a Dano it can not be imitated like that.

In clean, well into his surfing (reverb delay, tremolo), his unique sound also fly.

You do not buy the Dano for versatility. We bought it mainly for one sound (and because Jimmy Page played over Kashmir). But I know much more expensive guitars that I use only one as his (or two as a Strat .. most people disliking or intermediate positions, much less the center position). So the report versatility for money is not so rotten at Danelectro.

OVERALL OPINION

I have for some years (5 I think), since the year of its release / reissue actually. It was a favorite store in Pigalle.

A weld had farted and she never went out any sound. I had left by lazy rot in a gig bag. And then, after changing my Vox AC15C1 (bright cap mod and change lamps), I told myself, this being significantly improved on both of my or my Gretsch Duesenberg, it was a shame not to see what happens Dano gave with this that I so loved.

A session soldering iron later (taking the opportunity to check all the welds because it is not joy), I played for over two hours. In clean, in overdrive, with my Rattler (clone RAT2), my Big Muff clones ... it is still as addictive.
Every time I tell myself that I should really buy a good Telecaster, I play the Dano GAS and the crisis passes instantly.

After we agree, are less large holding of the agreement and the overall quality of manufacture. It's cheap. But the big plus: the sound, look terrible and more makes you look like a totally original and the price unbeatable. I put 9 Go for value for money, but it's almost too little to show the love I have for this little guitar.

Made in China in 2007, this guitar has 21 frets, the pickups are lipsticks (trademark from Danelectro) with a net made of amlioration also intermdiaire position, they are connected in SERIES, suddenly found an aspect "hambucker" high quality.

UTILIZATION

The handle is trs enjoyable to play, not too wide nor too pais, here we do not cover the shredding so far, it is between a Danelectro 56 pro and a Gibson Les Paul as far as I know;

SOUNDS

Sound: The strength of this guitar, is a position intermdiaire rgal the lipsticks in SERIES offers a broad spectrum frequency drives well velvety, the bass is beautiful, and Dfine g nreuses when are acute Submitted without being shrill or aggressive (just enough to break into a mix).
The neck position will move more towards jazz, at least a trend towards the soft rhythm.
The bridge position is fairly acute mdium-made for the lead, solo or other party ncessitant rglage a more extreme.
All this by adjusting the knobs for tonal or volume can cover a good range of sounds (my prfre intermdiaire remains, what heat!).
This guitar fits perfectly in the pop, post-rock, blues, jazz, rock, rockab 'or the stoner.
However if you go your way its eyes on the metal, the pickups n'encaissent gain more if the distortion is excessive, even for virtuosos "I go down the handle faster than my shadow!" because the handle will not be optimal.

OVERALL OPINION

1 day of use and conquered by the young lady, Fidler brand Danelectro 56 pro thanks the exit about 2 years ago, this rdition a mythical MODEL (thank you Jimmy) keeps its promises, the sound is its strong point (position intermdiaire) optimizes ergonomics for comfortable play and a lightweight weight are other major assets, a look sublime (note the appearance " Matt "the varnish, which is also found on the pickups, bridge and mcaniques) EHJV even if a little on some finishing touches (nothing too mchant the plastic knobs and plate slecteur the rear loose) but just over 200 euros, I have never seen a report qualitprix as exceptional.
Note: For those who doubt because the table is made of plywood into strips (forums and other discussions), I would say that the chemistry of this guitar is worth more than the type of wood used and it is not because we accumulate the best components you are doing the best ncessairement scratch!
Vintage 2007 Danelectro is a millsime, let it be said!

I refer to previous ones much notice documents. Personally, I'm bass player. I have some basic guitar and I wanted to buy a nice itch CHRE for compo. So I do not know much but I know when a sound reconnatre ... and a sound damn good. Construction is trs plastoc but makes good lgre. The rglages are simple, (2 knobs, 1 switch) and I also like. And she has a mouth of hell my Dano 59.

UTILIZATION

Ergonomics friendly without either of violin of precision (that is made of plastic, do not DCON either). The weight is amazing ... when you come out of a herniated disc and that a Fender trimballe Plow is trs cool. The sound is very simple to find, unless you have suffered a lobotomy rcemment. The knobs ragissent well has not run in a vacuum (berk!).

SOUNDS

Good, sound like a lot, it's a personal trs. I compose ballads crados the Tom Waits and really sticks well. It sounds old rock'n roll. It will not play metal with a (and no mtalleux would play a guitar like) but can tter ct vintage lot of styles. The position of "middle" obtained with the switch is really powerful. Note that the bridge position is one and a half times less strong but an ultra sound kind enough INTERESTED.

OVERALL OPINION

I bought two months ago. I do not spare any more and I take it everywhere with. I like everything: the sound, the mouth, the mouths of people who look, weight, ... I itches a lot of guitars before ... say that it is incomparable with a telecaster or a Gibson amricaine. on the other hand, compared to guitars in the same price range, trs trs trs is to trs trs far the best quality-price. Above all, this skyscraper has a real fucking personality. I bought 180 Euros new (MODEL expo sold on Ebay) and I still can not.

UTILIZATION

Originally, I bought it to use it for slide guitar (Led Zep style ...)
Not having persevered in the slide (but I have not said my last word!), I use it in standard tuning for now.
The handle is quite nice, more suited for rhythmic solos that shred ...
As for sound, I prefer using both combined or single bridge.
The fault that I find is that there is a loss of volume when switching from a combination with a simple two microphones. With the two combined, we get a fuller sound (great for slide and rhythm). When switching on the bridge pickup sound is sour but not uninteresting.
The sound is rather old school. In keeping with the look. I like to use it for a bit of blues and rhythmic style of the Kinks etc. ...
In weight, vraimment any problems. Very (too?) Light.

SOUNDS

As said before, it is not very versatile and is moving more toward vintage stuff (The Kinks, Led Zeppelin, White Stripes, ...)
Sounds the least popular are the only simple in the sense that it is necessary to boost the volume a bit.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for about a year, bought about € 200 without trying.
I bought it for its looks really nice.
The white plate has a tendency to yellow, which is not displease me.
A select, for the same price, would stay again without worries.
It's not my main guitar, but from time to time for a particular use is pretty cool.

access to acute see above is bad and that's the main flaw of this guitar to me.
Other than that the ergonomics of this guitar is pretty good though not so light in a hollow body.
Plug and play and it is happiness for those who love the rock 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's may not be adequate for extreme variations of metal .....

It is the hair for what I play (british 60's punk / rock 70's) but I think we can do anything with even jazz as the sound is good provided of course be able to play because it does not forgive errors.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for 2 months and I am still as enthusiastic.
What I like most: the sound of course and the retro look / design
What I like least: access to acute, somewhat imprecise mechanics (it turns) and paint a little cheap (watch out for pets and scratches).
A great guitar for the price, however I could do with another in the same brand.
Warning low price does not mean beginner guitar, you should know the ring.

Manufactured in China mine, the rest of info is already many times deficits.

it or you love it or like it, do not hesitating to go try it.
I play mostly rock / blues, play the metal, go your way.
I play a Fender 25R for the home, and I sound pretty serious out on the three FIRst strings, and a sharp sound perfect on the 3 LATEST.
on the other hand I'll invest in a compressor for the Premire bass string sounds really too much sometimes. I

OVERALL OPINION

since August 2010, and I had no CHRE (230 euros, including pdfs) in England, upon which I REU j ' ai invest 20aine euros more for the Repair Tool, ie the tones witcher does not work and the jack is dvisser. Otherwise I'm Entirely satisfied with this guitar, not hesitating to go lessayer!
