Eko Rock VI Reissue

UTILIZATION

SOUNDS

From the point of view of sound all depends on the gear you have, I play a Fender tube super field xd and Danelectro pedals, boss, eh, and I find the sound very good for a guitar of this price, but it can be found much cheaper if you order in Italy but be careful transport!
Plain or with a slight overdrive I think the sound is a bit like the sound of Rickenbacker guitars.

The humbucker is very powerful and wild I put the volume to 8, because basically it is a bit messy but it does well to mix in a group, distortion or fuzz that hard drive great solo with wah and delay but it is very vintage.

The single does not support micro distortions and collapses quickly but to play the sixties or surfing is great! excellent sound with good treble and bass much unlike a Strat is a guitar for garage rock punk sounds good but for the new wave and pop music.

OVERALL OPINION

I have since 2012 and I am very happy, but it took me time to find the right sound for a very vintage, I almost changed the humbucker with a jones tv but I did not because this guitar with a strong personality and a unique sound is the sound eko enough in the media, maybe I'll do it on another rock6 because I must admit that I find the shape of the guitar quite exceptional and I think I 'll keep it long!
Guitar that will not please everyone because very distinctive in sound!
