Made in Japan the granny, 22 frets I think, equipped with a Bigsby, TDS is the version with the aging bindin and the bridge so circular block.
The inlay on the inside of the button are nice, the key is in "Rosewood". It's the simple version with the microphones, the Dyna-Tron ...
A volume control for each pickup, one tone and one master volume (very useful to keep the balance between micro bridge and neck pickup in middle position)

UTILIZATION

The handle is a treat, not too big, thinner than a Gibson, a real pleasure to play it ... The Bigsby is excellent ...
Access to acute Start is not worse than a little difficult but possible.
The guitar is light, a delight to play, plug the sound is huge ... It sounds naturally rockabilly, but it's versatile, Jazz, Rock and bourrinage agreed work very well ... It is a pleasure to play on the guitar sounds right and the quality of the violin is huge ...
... The Dyna-Sonic pickups have great definition. Some complain of nasal bridge micro ... It's my favorite ...
Be careful, however, on what amp you plug it ... on a Fender Blues Junior, in fact, the micro Bridge nasal (like this amp for that matter), for against, connected to a Marshall Bluesbreaker, micro Bridge leaves out of beautiful harmonics and superb definition, a much richer and better defined strat ... Foot ...
I do not even talk about the intermediate position and the position of grave (Grave is excellent for blues solos) ...
At ergonomics, this guitar is versatile on Anniversary, it was difficult to make Bends on the Duo-Jet, no problemo ..

SOUNDS

Guitar ideal for all types of music except extreme Trash and taping of the Sick ... But be careful with the G string that goes with the use of the Bigsby ...
Poilyvalents sounds are warm and rich ... instead of crystalline type, in fact ...
Guitar overdrive but tolerates the least distortion, prefer an overdrive with a little crunch and it comes direct from Neil Young ...

OVERALL OPINION

The Pied ...
Light, sounds right, superb sound, sounds rich and different ...
I tried the Anniversary, a Country Gentlemen ...
I bought it with his eyes closed to direct States ... But hey,
The value for money is unacceptable to France, buy these instruments directly to the USA ... Possible to nab one for under 2000 euros, for the price of a new Start, in comparison, there is no photo The Gretsch is operating in a different category ... the Gretsch Cadillac falls into the category and the category Start Méhari ... (Warning, I love strats, but they are worlds) ...
I do it again this choice in a heartbeat ...
