Inspired guitar, made in China which comes in the form of a thoughtful synthesis of the Gibson SG and any stratovolcano.
The bridge is a tremolo that Hagstrom désacorde not unduly guitar (of course if it is abused too ...!) but that said, I think to make me check the nut that seems not to be top ... The vibrato bar is a twist it, like the stratos but not the screws, do not float on its axis tro but deserved to be shorter than two cm in my opinion.
The neck is thin enough for me, it feels very comfortable, very comfortable playing, fast ....!
No fret noises, everything is absolutely cool about this guitar, 1 volume knob and one tone that falls well below the fifth finger, so a very good ergonomics ... a gibson style selector that allows you to make "nut nut nut "through this kind of switch blade .... very good to use the clash

Frankly a good 9 for the ridiculous price of this guitar that I was totally seduced.
UTILIZATION
The general shape is very comfortable both sitting and standing, the handle is 21 because the box fully accessible double cutaway is there!
Well balanced, you feel immediately at even the slightest weight seems to me, I say, half a squier japan!
Readily obtained a very good sound, the neck pickup is punchy enough, the middle position gives good sound crystal clear, the knobs may be just a bit: I find little if not progressive, not a background noise .... very well for this range ... no feedback nor easily thanks to the microphones 58 that equips the Hagstrom guitar.
I would love to try the model with p90 to see the difference.
it deserves a 9 while this.
SOUNDS

Pleasant surprise, it sounds good .... good volume unplug it seems ....
A more punchy neck pickup than the bridge, a very good sound distortion, a very good sustain, crystalline and inviting all at once, this guitar seems very well for all styles, but perhaps not for death metal though ... by changing the pickups, given the price, it deserves a try.
I play on a small 15 watt Fender frontman and I virtualizes on Garageband guitar and rig each time, we quickly found a good setting and the breath is apparent that if the effects are disgusting, the pallet of sounds is great though two microphones is fairly close.
On a tube amp, it must be big foot.
9 as, you guessed, I won ....!
OVERALL OPINION
I bought this guitar a month ago now, I play for a little over twenty five years and this is my fourth guitar and almost the best (to my GIBSON S1 that I was very unhappy idea sell) ... I paid 165 euros, including postage and a very very good deal ...
it's been a while since I spotted this brand, had tried the Viking in a store and had been completely blown away by this model of this brand unknown to me then .... I was looking to fund a half time .
I owned a copy sg Honner, a Squier Stratocaster japan, mexico and a Gibson s1 then copy and stratovolcano behringer usb iaxe Centauri and this Hagstrom, sold about 350 euros is quite a detour, if it were to do again, I would do without hesitation and you advice to try this brand before purchase because you will definitely like me, won both the quality / price ratio is incredible ...!
I put 10 because for 165 euros, it carrrément paradise!
