Hamer Special

The Hamer Special Is an American made guitar that really can compete with any top guitar brand on the market. The handle is very nice, straight as an "i". Very good access to acute, the set neck has a thin enough profile and D is very clear from the body much like a SG. the guitar sounds great vacuum, with the attack, a good definition and balance. notes stand out well, no complaints on that side. I have this guitar for about 10 years, bought second hand for 4500F. It is a foolproof mechanical stability, never needed adjustment, but a small quarter turn truss rod during a particularly hot summer.

UTILIZATION

The good and beautiful violin, simple and efficient, no frills but with quality materials. All with a weight that is reasonable. The sound is excellent and is located halfway between the thickness of a Les Paul and biting and attacking a Telecaster, while retaining his personality, if you have never tasted the P90, c ' is the kind of guitar that can convert. Ideal when a Les Paul too and gives a strat not enough, it's the perfect compromise. More versatile than you might expect due to the presence of a separate volume by micro, which enables a lot of subtleties in the mixture of the two microphones.

SOUNDS

The Hamer is full of relief, but keeps his balance. It responds very quickly to the nuances of the game, allowing crystal clear arpeggios fingers, clear agreements or drive warm, rhythmic as heavy and saturated. In note-a-note, it's quite a cut, this strong and distinct.

OVERALL OPINION

It is this last that I prefer it because this amp is pretty hot, which combines well with bright side of Hamer. I particularly enjoy playing with both pickups selector, because the sound is on the edge of nervousness while keeping enough heat.

mechanical Schaller (ultra prcises) bridge stop bar + tunOmatic I would prfr a wraparound, but the fittings are of excellent workmanship.
2 Seymour Duncan p90, 2 volumes, 1 Tone Gnrale.
The body and neck are each a pice of mahogany from Honduras! no need to say ... it's very upscale.

USE

The handle is a rgal a bigger and flat coat the profile slim typing gibson (profile D), it is perfect for me, an excellent compromise. It does not encourage acrobatics, but makes you want to do riffs and solos nergiques rock'n roll, play real blues crados and not at SRV.
The guitar is lightweight, access to acute is easy, it really makes you want to play.
The varnish is extraordinarily smooth, never seen something similar elsewhere (in comparison with Fender, Gibson and PRS).
The guitar looks slightly nose is best to use the strap to play sitting down. (But in any fawn nobody plays rock 'n roll seated)

SONORITS

SOUNDS

Well suited to blues to rock to AC / DC, Led Zep through and others, is a guitar that sounds authentic, whose simplicity and strength to get to the point (no floyd, no humbuckers) .
