I bought this guitar on musicians friend for $200 with a 60% discount from retail.

I love my guitar sooo much. its a good break away from fender which is necessary and a great value. My friends dad has a LP and my rosewood fretboard plays almost exactly the same. Alot of small things were plastic like the strap hooks which accounts for some of the low cost. these can be upgraded to make your guitar even better. i put my chrome ones from my old peavey the day i got my new guitar. Dual Duncan humbuckers give it great gain for awesome punk/hard core music and jumbo frets give it good action on the neck. The sparkle finish is exellent and the headstock painting is impeccable.

well my strap slipped one day and its got a crack in the back but that's my own doing. theres no pickguard but the strings are set high so it's not much of a problem. i don't mind but i figure one of you might. besides it'd look crappy with a pickguard anyway. if you buy this guitar and want one try a LP pickguard that would look pretty good.

i have had 0 problems so far with my guitar construction wise. i've only had it for six months though so...i haven't had to make any truss rod adjustments and some day when i'm bored i may screw around with pickup hight but i haven't yet. the nut on the input comes loose every now and then so thats probably the only problem that i've found.

ESP discontinued the guitar put if you can pick it up used it's an amazing guitar for the price. check out the F-200 and 300 they've got different pickups available and cool arrowhead inlays.

    $200/musicians friend closeout! A total
of $214.94 shipped to my home.

All they had left was titanium finish
    which shouldnt turned down, because
it looks beautiful. It's kinda of a
    charcoal grey metallic, sweet! The
    duncan designed pickups sound great,
no noise, plenty of chunk, nice clean
tone too. The body is comfortable to
stand up and play for long periods of time.
The neck is an awesome natural finish
that plays remarkable, no flaws here.
It looks way more evil to me than a warlock
and is 3x the quality. There are guitars
that are not this good in the $800-1000 price range. You wont believe the action!
    Excellent for serious metal!!!

Nothing really at all. The factory light
gauge strings are kind of crappy, but
easily fixed with a set of skinny top-heavy bottom ernie ball strings, about $9.
Much more bottom. I dislike nothing about
    this guitar!

Very excellent, I dont know how they make a
guitar ths good for so little $$$.
Hangs with all the big names. It has good sustain and the fretwork is mind boggling.
    You should consider an Ltd!

You cannot simply buy a better guitar for the $200 price. Instead of reading this
you should be ordering one while they are still left. This is my first esp and it will
    not be my last.

When I first saw the ESP/LTD "F" shape a couple of years ago, I thought they had some pretty wicked curves on them, but they were kind of spendy (I only buy cheap guitars so I can have more of them!) But lo! This month MusiciansFriend.com dropped the price on this sweet axe to $199.99. I said to myself, "The time has come -- I MUST HAVE ONE!"

Like my wife did a few years ago, this guitar first drew my attention because of its great looks. It is simply a killer looking machine. The lack of a whammy bar/bridge setup is fine with me, as I have that on 3 other guitars, already. The sustain is great and it actually sounds really good unplugged from an amp. The whole thing feels really well balanced and solidly constructed -- certainly not a given with just any old $200 guitar. I opted for the black cherry finish and it is definitely the best choice of the 3 options for this model. The titanium was like a dull silver glitter finish and black wouldn't allow the great curves to be seen in a live setting. Go black cherry!! Did I mention it looks great?

There are a couple of minor issues to consider with this guitar. A slight fret buzz is present as shipped. I'm sure I can rectify that with a little adjusting. Also, the placement of the upper strap button is a bit awkward for the particular locking strap that I bought for it. I bought a Sure-lock strap, which is great, but the hard plastic end would rub the corner nearest to the strap button and with time, I'm sure it would damage the finish. I've chosen a regular leather-ended strap now and put the Sure-lock on a regular-shaped axe and all is well. Also of note, the "universal" F/B hardcase that is sold with for this guitar really is a poor fit. I have to squeeze the guitar in and the body end of the case has to be pushed down to latch it (there’s enough cushion, though, to not hurt the guitar).

The build of the guitar is beautiful. The tuners are very solid, as is the rest of the hardware. There are some slightly noticeable streaks in the finish at the bottom, below the bridge and there's a tiny bubble on one of the lower edges. These are things that are probably unit specific to mine, but something to consider, all the same. Overall, it is well constructed and the jagged-yet-smooth curves are great to run one's hands over.

I am extremely pleased with my purchase of the F-100 and I'm so glad I'm not kicking myself for buying it when it was more expensive (if ya can't tell, I'm very budget minded). This is the first ESP addition to my stable and I wouldn't hesitate to add another.

I bought this uit at the Music Exchange becuase they were the only ESP dealer for several hours in any direction. Im familiar with a lot of artists who play ESP, so I researched the guitars and decided an F-100 would best suit my needs. I picked itup for $299

The looks are incredible! Mine is black, and it just looks amazing, even the headstock is cool. I like the pickups on the guitar, and for looking so jagged, its remarkably comfortable for extended play, and its relatively light and can be played standing up with ease. The neck is maple w/ rosewood fingerboard and is incredibly fast.

the guitar has a bolt-on neck, but the sustain is amazing. the construction of the body seems flawless, all the knobs and jacks work as they should

absolutely amazing. If you're considering Ibanez, like i was, do yourself a faor and check out ESP. it might cost a little more, but you'll gain that and so much more back in quality. For the price, ESP is unbeatable in every sense

Solid body guitar factory in Indonsie. The wood is of good quality plutt.

Channel 24 frets type ESP (25.5 in, tilt toward the rear lgrement), ESP humbuckers.

Fixed bridge, strings through the body.

1 rglage volume, one tone rgalge a slecteur 3 positions. Simple, prcis, effective.

It would MRIT 10 if there was a low and a rglage rglage acute.

    UTILIZATION

The handle is a pleasure vritable. I had the jou even on the sleeves type Fender, and you really feel the difference. It is relatively thin, satin (which ensures a perfect glide). The key is a key trs flat compared fender, and the frets are quite low. In short, a handle made for speed. Anything.

The key is a key trs flat compared fender, and the frets are quite low. In short, a handle made for speed. Anything.

This guitar is one of the most ergonomic I've had the opportunity to try. The balance is excellent, and the handle, lgrement back, is all the more enjoyable.

In sound, it's still honnte for microphones that are not branded. I think she MRIT a set of EMG-81, like its big brother the F-400. Dja but not bad like that. The clean sound is pretty trs (a Kustom KA16R), saturated and can push rgalges without it becoming too filthy and inaudible with the microphone bridge. That said, the microphone is downright rough neck with a large distortion, especially rglant very low.

For cons, the only major BMOL I t is obliged to rgler Fully few weeks after purchase. But once this RALGA fact, it accepts all standard rglages without flinching, and especially taking the tuning of Manir copy compares quite a few other guitars. In less then a point for this problem of rglages.

    SOUNDS

I play almost exclusively of metal, particularly that of Czech, D. This scratch is really perfect for mtalleux.

As mentioned in the preceding paragraph, the microphone is trs rough neck with a big enough rglages distortion and "low". He lost because almost all the high notes DEFINITIONS, leaving a magma rumbling bass. No glop.

However, the micro bridge is excellent. I stay on it almost all the time, even in the rhythm. We just have a little tournr tone for a very heavy sound;). Solo, the sound is brilliant, prcis, with trs pretty good treble and bass slamming when necessary.

A passage over an electronic high-end envisger especially if it plans to use the microphone neck. A combination of a combo or EMG81 HS8 + SH12 me seem Idaux.

I put 8 to the microphone neck dcevant overtaken by the excellent sound bridge.

    OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar recently prs 6 months, and it became my main instrument in the studio rpt. I use it even with my Digitech RP200 rack as low to the accompaniment until the day I will pay o low true;)

This guitar has it all: affordable (especially in Germany), beautiful (black varnish Saddle bookmatch transparent), aggressively ... The mtalleuse perfect. It requires no less ESP.

An excellent qualitprix so if it is a bit feeble an electronic (but 1000 miles of the electronic shit eh Squier, D) and a risk of rglages (may be is that of transport from Germany for that matter).

Obviously I would do the same choice if c'tait again because she had really tap into the eye. That said, if I t rich, I would have taken his big sister's F-400, even more beautiful is a team of active EMG-81 set.
