Marceau Guitars N-G

This is a model FRETLESS.

- A potentiometer for volume, one tone, a 6 position selector for different configurations of microphones.

- Pickups: 2 singles and a double in bridge Marceau ®

- Mahogany body, Maple Table Pommelé, crossing Maple Neck, Ebony Button

- Finish Oiled / Waxed

Cosmetically the guitar is beautiful (wood, finish etc. ...)

UTILIZATION

The guitar in general is very nice to the touch and playability

It is light enough, and its shape fits snugly to the body.

The access is excellent with acute neck-through.

SOUNDS

I play on an amp Fryette Memphis, and I tested it on several other amps.

6 combinations of microphones give a range of sounds really interesting. So it is possible to exploit the full Fretless ways and have tremendous sonorities possible with a single amp sound.

Given in C with the 13/56 it sounds superb, clear sound in saturated or even no effect. I only use a delay to give a little more sustain and depth to the sound sometimes.

OVERALL OPINION

The guitar is very well finished, contact with Tom Marceau for the design was very nice, I gave him confidence for different choices of woods and pickups compared to what I wanted.

This is not so obvious to realize a Fretless, there are a lot of constraints, and the guitar meets my expectations, I'm really happy with my choice.

Vibrato with floating-Tremol-no for a maximum of possibilities

Channel ultra comfortable with a very good access to acute, both fast but not too flat to have all the necessary support for bends etc.

-Micro Hi-gain in acute Marceau very sharp but not at all dry!

Micro-Marceau very warm in the grave for maximum versatility, and the two microphones are responding extremely well to the tone and volume knobs

UTILIZATION

-The handle is a marvel, I who used to play on the sleeves flat, I was immediately seduced by the comfort, speed, and the support of the neck, in short, everything you expect Handle perfect!

-The guitar is light and you can easily play for hours without breaking your back!

-Access to treble is perfect

-Once plugged in my Mesa Roadster it sounds directly!

SOUNDS

With this little beauty you can address all kinds of music, from fusion to funk blues, rock, metal etc for the versatility of the pickups is incredible, move the volume or tone and you will have access to a range of its huge!
This guitar will make you want to play all styles, and inspire you as you do you will ask more questions like, "it bothers me or the sound is not quite the way I want ..." we think only of the music!
Here we find a kind of Super Start type Suhr or Tom Anderson, but at competitive prices and with guitars that have really, really nothing to fear from the past!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 4 months and it is simply the best guitar I've had in the hands ..

Weakness:
Not having full home ...

Unbeatable value for money, unbeatable at this level, and we are in the big leagues!

I think in a resume as soon as possible and I highly recommend to any guitarist looking for perfection.

Remember that everything is custom and therefore everything is possible!
