UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice (for my taste): fine and not too wide, very comfortable. The ebony fingerboard gives a smooth feel, the game is fast and easy to handle with this profile.

No problem of access to acute!

Good balance of the instrument, which does not weigh too heavy either.

The finishing of the instrument are very good, no flash or anything. It's nickel! PRS SE did a great job, but I had the opportunity to compare with Tremonti Singlecut, I find it beyond the level finish and EMG provide fishing and fat!

The former model was already very nice, but I have not been packed. There, I flashed live and I must say they are very different and that the 2010 version is much more to my expectations!

SOUNDS

I play mainly rock music punchy and meta all the sauces, but I'm not sectarian;)

Currently, I shoot with a plugged into a Peavey 5150 4 * 12
Basically, I'm not friends with mahogany guitars (I also own an Ibanez Xiphos) because I often have problems finding the sound I like and edged mahogany + Peavey, it tends to give a Festiva bass and midrange ...

Over time I finally find the right settings (I have a Boss Equalizer GE7 in my effects loop as well) and here I must confess that I have a pig with her that PRS!

In clean:

All sounds are profitable: neck, middle and bridge. It goes from warm and bluesy singing (handle) to clean and dry 100% right Metallica (EMG81 What, Me I love this kind of clean, too).

Pannel s'éargi very interesting with splits. A simple stick microphone is always happy to clean for solos or lead.

In disto:

Good fishing on the guitar with EMG (although I do not consider the ultimate pickups, I like them much anyway).

Palm Mute the large, harmonics coming out very easily.

The sound is clean, warm and quite round but still aggressive. I found myself very well and lowering the gain at the amp or guitar you can easily tap into hard rock and sounds very much vintage.

Totally satisfied sounds offered by this instrument! Very versatile and convincing!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since last summer, at every concert in my group since I've (almost once a month).

I can not get enough, she offers a range of sounds that I try to use at best. I play this guitar in a rock / metal songs are our inspirations varied: from the ride to metalcore ultra speed, it ensures all brilliantly.

It is very versatile and quality of the instrument is remarkable for such a price! PRS SE typed very high on this one and we propose a guitar visually original and successful, with extra sounds for all kinds of rockers!

All that to say you can charge whatever;)
