«  A real little killer »

Published on 02/17/12 at 01:34
Buy in February 2012 for € 150 with house, pickguard changed

The handle 51 is a telecaster with a body of stratocaster
Single neck pickup and bridge pickup double (humbucker) - only 2 microphones
A nice retro lock, good workmanship and design in relation to its price range.
Fairly light weight - the change is needed pickguard (poor quality of the original)

UTILIZATION

At the game, you have to expect you can do with a true telecaster: it is comfortable at stake in agreement, but the thickness of the handle does not help telecaster solo fast.

SOUNDS

The 51 appears to be very good for rhythm (better than a yamaha pacifica) and also able to solo.
It sounds pretty root and is suitable for rock / blue / jazz but also world music and pop.
It is effective for clean sounds or crunch (overdrive bonnne), on the other hand it is not made for large distortion (exit the hard, grunge rock and other very heavy)

OVERALL OPINION

This is my second electric guitar, I own a yamaha pacifica 812W (or 804W, I do not know)
In the end it satisfies me because I'm in a register crunch / overdrive and is not a fan of metal.
I think changing the microphone to make a real small one killer because it has everything a great!
