I saw an ad in a magazine for this guitar - really liked the look so I bought it on-line at Music Yo. I think I paid $360 or around there for this guitar

The guitar is nice and light and the strings are easy to change. It looks great - I bought the orange one (not really orange - kind of a rust yellow). Anyway, it looks pretty cool. For a "cheap" guitar it sounds pretty good. I was worried buying it without playing it first, but I think it is a good buy for the money.

The tuning pegs at the bottom are so close together that it is a little difficult to tune without messing up the other strings you've already tuned. You get used to it, but it is nothing like tuning a guitar with a head. The tremlo system is really touchy - resting your hand around the bridge will set it off. But, the one nice thing is that you can lock it, so that is how I use it. I could never see using the tremlo at a gig with this guitar. Although the finish is nice, there was a little "do-dad" on mine towards the bottom. Nothing that would make me send it back, but that is what you get for a Korean guitar.

Seems pretty solid. The finish is really nice and would probably gig pretty well.

Look, this isn't a Les Paul but you know that going into it. So, for the price this is a pretty good guitar. Most people, like myself, buy it for the looks and are probably happy with the sound once they get it. This is a great beginner guitar or one that would be good for gigging since you could beat it up and not care too much.

First off i love the headless design and strings are a breeze to change. The guitar arrived and looked amazing!! Beutifal trans blue-ish turquoise over flame maple top, with creme body binding. Next I tuned it up set up the trem and gave it a test drive. The sound is great and has a variety of sounds. Pickups are HSH(EMG passives) The bridge humbucker is great and all the notes of the chords shine through not to muddy and not too bright. I do wish the pickups drove the amp a little more like the pickups in my wolfgang, but the tone is good from these. The neck pickup has a nice fluid neck pickup sond, good for singing solos. The single coil isnt quite as loud as the humbuckers but its more balanced than some guitars i've played with this configuration. The best single coil sounds on this thing to me are the coil splitting settings(2nd and 4th position on the 5 way switch). The 4th position makes for a very sparkly sweet clean sound as well as a singing lead sound. The pickups also very quiet when not in use. The trem is great and it locks in place!! Also its much easier to adjust than a floyd although it has a stiffer feel.



Factory setup wasnt good, but no biggie. I wish the pickups were a little higher output.



I was worried about quality of construction being this is a korean made guitar. But its put together better than any korean guitar i've ever played(better than some american). Finish work is 10 times better than any guitar in this price bracket.



I dont have a very thick wallet so I'm always searching for reasonably priced quality guitars. And this is by far the best guitar I have ever played that cost less than 500 dollars, it better than alot of guitars that are twice its price. Its highly recommended for players with a tight budget but want high quality. Plus its an eye catcher.

Made in Korea .... trs and yet good quality! Dcidment, they are strong these Koren . As do many manufacturers of guitars, Steinberger (led by Gibson) presents here a copy of the version purse clbre SERIES GM. If we lose the battle some of carractristiques who have made the success of Steinberger guitars (graphite shaft, Trans Trem ...) the GU-Deluxe Nevertheless trs guitar int esting:

UTILIZATION

The guitar factory silent RULES trs well but goes with a set of 9-42 strings of rather poor quality. After chang by real Steinberger string (you can easily find on the net or in store if the seller wants well bother to order) is nikel: the handle is comfortable trs diabason short and to mount a set of strings 9-46 or 10-52 without tension is too high.
That said, the most remarkable on this guitar is the vibrato and the system of mounting the strings. The vibrato (R-Trem) is a system that trs trs stable and robust floating tremolo (I think better than a floyd rose). The cores possdent a ball each extrmit allowing to change in 30 seconds by the clock! Moreover, as there is no sticking point, the guitar is impossible dsacorder, even after a dive bomb an octave is a real treat!
The tuning is done on the bridge, which is quite handy once you get used. But the top is the fact that the SETTING THE tension spring vibrato (which operates in the transition pressure and not tension, making it less fragile beacoup) is via a knob located the rear of the vibrato. So no need to dvisser plate when changing pulling strings.
The ultimate thing is the switch that blocks the vibrato if necessary. Ideal to be able to finish a piece of string breaking an APRS!
Ergonomics standard, nothing to say good trs Access in acute, beautiful and above all is asser lgre trs compact due to the absence of head sleeve (perfect for play 5 on a 2-m2 scne without stun singer .

SOUNDS

O The apche is in sound: the guitar sounds so good either trs branch, not EMG Select pickups as the top ... missing a lot of prcison ...
In the light passes a nikel, but for heavy distortion is not IDAL: srieusement will consider change at least the bridge pickup.
Apart from the knobs and a switch are of good quality: a crack at all.

OVERALL OPINION

Frankly for the price (I paid 399 euros in the Music-Yo era or they taient in Europe) this guitar kills everything! It's been two years since I, and since I play my Start virtually no US! The Steinberger is much more comfortable, and especially do not dsacorde! It's been 15 years since I played guitar, and I tried a bunch of guitars diffrent ... Frankly from the MusicMan a friend (but not the same budget I have not found better.
Conclusion: If you are a addepte the use of vibrato is the guitar for you!
