Extensive for a guitar of this range, a copy Ibanez RG, oriented so metal.

UTILIZATION

The handle is thicker and rounder than those of the Ibanez RG, but it is very nice.
Access to acute is really excellent, thanks to the cut of the heel.
The mechanics are quite precise and allows to refine the tuning thanks to fine tuning.
It is quite heavy and hold it's tuning rather well if you do not play too much with the floyd (if it is not blocked).

The floyd is a horror to be setup on this model, to maintain a floating position is an achievement!
Two solutions: either the block with a block of wood or the soft-bottom so that it stops in the cavity, but in both cases it will be impossible to pull. However, once the floyd blocked, it makes perfect tuning.

SOUNDS

As mentioned earlier it is a rather direct metal guitar due to the configuration of the microphones and the presence of a floyd rose.

This gives a wide range of sound through the microphone HSH config.

Distortion in the humbuckers have a proper output level, but are quickly drafts, especially the neck pickup to "drool" not bad, the bridge pickup is fairly accurate, which is significant especially for solos. But overall the record is pretty good.
The simple micro tolerate less distortion and is more "sour".

In clean no problem, two doubles and have a good sound pretty hot potato, simply slamming a well, although quite cold. Intermediate positions are fun to play.

OVERALL OPINION

That was my first guitar and it makes me even that good service entant second guitar (for different tunings and with the floyd blocked) next to my Ibanez JEM, I bought 6 years ago in 1200Fr if I remember are good (with an old amp).

For that price it's a great first guitar, complete (note, however, to Floyd for beginners) and that sounds pretty good (a change of micro might be a good investment). And she has a good mouth for a RG-like.

At the time I had never touched an electric guitar, and I is not had no trouble learning it is so comfortable and easy to scratch play.

The price / quality ratio is excellent, I had the opportunity to play on guitar latest entry-level and more expensive (Squier, Cort, Stagg, Epiphone ...) and that was terrible to play, not to mention the absolutely unbearable.

In the end it's a great entry level guitar that I recommend to anyone who would like to start electric guitar without ruining it with a scraper typical rock / metal that makes sense.
Even should it be found used as it does not seem to run the streets ...
(My rating is of course the fact that it is an entry level guitar, it is not to compare it to other more expensive guitars and could be lower-rated)
